Something is bugging the profile site. VIRUS???

Every time I visit someone else's profile or my own the page doesn't load completely and the window starts to flicker very fast. I also saw that it attempted to hijack my mobile connection because it tried to open a window for that and just a minute ago it even took over the task manager as I tried to kill firefox that way because it didn't respond to the red cross.
I had this several times today. I use the most up to date firefox running under XP with all updates.

You have a virus, or some form of information collecting program running in your background.

Shut down your PC, boot it up in safe mode and then run your anti spyware and anti virus programs to get rid of it.

yup, I agree you have spyware. I recommend AVAST to get rid of your spyware or viruses.
