Zuckerberg's Bizarre Facebook Insignia Revealed, And What It Means

Here's an interesting article I wanted to share with the members

To much media fanfare, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg removed his signature hoodie at D8 conference Wednesday, revealing a strange Illuminati-like diagram printed on the blue silk lining. Interviewer Kara Swisher took one look at the bizarre garment and remarked, "What are you in, some kind of cult?"

The notion of some sort of secret seal struck a chord with the D8 audience -- and raises larger questions: The image is impossible to find on any open Facebook marketing materials, or online at all. When contacted by SF Weekly, the official channels at Facebook held that they had no details on the insignia, despite the fact that they could have just written it off on an over-enthusiastic design team.

What's your take?

edit to add, missed that this article is from the 4th, so most likely there could already be a thread posted, knowing how quick our members are to the punch, if so, please provide a link so I can close this one

edit on by JacKatMtn because: (no reason given)

Hmmm I don't know what to make of it. It doesn't have any obvious symbolism but its throwing up my red flag detector.

Maybe if I stare at it long enough I might find something?

I thought the same thing...

Looks like a 21st century powerpoint slide for some Facebook planners presentation..

I thought it was a bit humorous how the article presented it in a CT kind of way

It dawned on me today, something about Zuckerberg's dementia with facebuck. What with all the outrageously ridiculous cancelations of accounts with no explanation except, "we don't have to explain anything, the agreement says we can do this for any reason", even when the person has made no or very few posts ever. Or, what about limiting people to confirming no more than either 5 or 10 friend requests per day, even with that being one's only activity all day long. Not to mention other unannounced changes to one's account, individually, as well as collectively.

Clarifications have been made that Zuckerman himself has said that the origins of facebuck had to do with creating a slander memetic against a former girlfriend.

Ladies and gentlement, boys and girls, Zuckerman has a severe case of Aspberger's disease, as well as factitious disorders and perhaps sociopathies such as psycho-social cannibalism and perceiving users' lives as an ant farm for his entertainment ... and profit, a sociopathy.

Well I can see a hexagram. We all know that the hexagram relates to religions and cults. Perhaps Mark Zuckerberg want facebook to become a religon.

I can see it now "The divine faith of Facebook"

It already has over 100million followers ready to fight against the great evil that is myspace!

Looks like something on the cover of a Scientology pamphlet.

Well, just by outlining the intersecting lines in the middle this is what I came up with:

I don't know if it means anything or not, but I'll keep playing around with the shapes and designs for a while tonight. Maybe I can find something interesting in all of it.

Good find JacKatMtn!

Peace be with you.
