Sun activity linked to austrailian lights?

So i have been reading around on ATS about recent reports of weird lights happening in austrailia the other night. Well June 4th there had been a sun coronal and that the waves would reach a couple days later, when the lights occured. When these hit the magnetosphere this would cause the lights to appear. I havent seen this in the posts about it but someone proposed a missile launch. what do you people think? any corralation between the 2 or just coincedence?
