Tonight (monday June 7) Natgeo had a great show on investigating "red rain" and star jelly...these things seem to have been found throughout the ages connected with meteors and meteor showers.

A very decent presentation and the show will be on again tonight at 12 am (EST)

they present both sides, but the conclusion seems to be they are unidentifiable life forms...they have DNA, but it is different from anything we have to compare it with.

you can also see trailers on the show at their site

Watching it right now.

Of particular interest is the Tardigrades!

Indicates, that extra-terrestrial organisms could EASILY be brought here from out space via comet or meteor. (Panspermia theory)

Well I have kind of turned my back on UFOs for a few years. But I wonder about star jelly. I have neve seen it but can it be slime mould swarms. They look like a blog of goo up to 3 ft across.

I don't think it would be that. Several scientists tested the stuff and didn't recognize it as anything known on Earth.
