if thats what you believe and got out of it then ok thats your opinion! as this will explain your illusions cannot be mine!

I'm going to start this out with passages from the book: The Book Of The Law! you might have read it and mis-understood it you might not have read it at all but you cannot deny the truths concealed within. do I believe everything in it not 100%. But I do believe it has enough weight to be brought into this discussion which I'am going to start. some may let the author of this book's reputation get in the way of there perception some might not have a clue at all. all I ask is stay on topic and dont get into the life and times if thats all you have to attack with KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

The study of these passages necessarily demands supreme human scholarship to interpret it needs years of intense application. A great deal has still to be worked out. But enough has been discovered to justify its claim the most sceptical of intelligence is compelled to admit its truth. On the other hand the language of the book is admirably simple clear and vigorous.

This book explains the universe the elements of space that is the total possiblities of every kind. Every event is a uniting of some one monad with one of the experiences possible to it. Every man and every woman is a star. That is an aggregate of such experiences constantly changing with each frsh event which affects him or her consciously or sub-consciously.

Each one of us has a universe of his own but it is the same universe for each one as soon as it includes all possible experience. This implies the extension of consciousness to include all other consciousness. In our present stage the object that you see is never the object that I see. We infer that it is the same because your experience tallies with mine on so many points that the actual differences of our observation are negligible.

For instance if a friend is walking between us you see only his left side I his right. But we agree that it is the same man although we may differ not only as to what we may see of his body but as to what we know of his qualities. This conviction of identity grows stronger as we see him more often and get to know him better. Yet all the time neither of us can know anything of him at all beyond the total impression made on our respective minds.

Each of us stars is to move on our true orbit as marked out by the nature of our position the law of growth the impulse of our past experiences. All events are equally lawful and everyone necessary in the long run for all of us. Only one act is lawful for each one of us at any given moment. Therefore duty consists in determining to experience the right event from one moment of consciousness to another.

The third chapter of the book is difficult to understand and may be very repugnant to anyone born before 1904 the date of the book. It tells us the characteristics of the period on which we are now entered. Superfically they appear appalling. We see some of them already with terrifying clarity. Certain vast stars (or agreggates of experience) may be described as gods.

This present period involves the recognition of the individual as the unit of society. Every event including death is only one more acceration to our experience freely willed by ourselves from the beginning and therefore also predestined. Observe for yourselves the decay of the sense of sin. The growth of innocence and irresponsibility the strange modifications of the reproductive instinct.

With the tendency to become bi-sexual or epicine the childlike confidence in progress combined with nightmare fear of catastrophe against which we are yet half willing to take precautions. Consider the outcrop of dictatorships only possible when moral growth is in its earliest stages. And the infantile cults like Communism, Fascism, Pacifism, Health Crazes, Occultism in nearly all its forms. Religions sentimentalised to the point of practical extinction.

Consider the popularity of the cinema, the wireless, the football pools, and guessing competitions all devices for soothing fractious infants no seed of purpose in them. Consider sport the babyish enthusiasms and rages which it excites whole nations disturbed by disputes between boys. Consider war the atrocities which occur daily and leave us unmoved and hardly worried. We are children.

Democracy dodders. Ferocious fascism cackling communism equally frauds cavort crazily all over the golbe. They are hemming us in. Liberty stirs once more in the womb of time.

Evolution makes it's changes by anti-socialistic ways. The abnormal man who forsees the trend of times and adapts circumstance intelligently is laughed at persecuted often destroyed by the herd. But he and his heirs when the crisis comes are survivors. Above us to-day hangs a danger never yet paralleled in history. We suppress the individual in more and more ways.

We think in terms of the herd. War no longer kills soldiers it kills all indiscriminately. Every new measure of the most democratic and autocratic governments is communistic in essence. It is always restriction. We are treated as imbecile children. Dora, the shops act, the motoring laws, sunday suffocation, the censorship they wont trust us to cross the roads at will.

Fascism is like communism and dishonest into the bargain. The dictators suppress all art, literature, theatre, music, news, that does not meet their requirements yet the world only moves by the light of genius. The herd will be destroyed in mass.

The absolute rule of the state shall be a function of the absolute liberty of each individual will.

If you read the rest of the book it reads more like a bible there are things un-known in 1904 that are hidden in the rest of the book through cipher, and cryptograms. You have to know what to look for or know what you've found when you come across it. For example:

4 6 3 8 a l g m o r 3 y x 24 89 r p s t o v a l. That code has yet to be still un-coded with certainty. Also there are more obvious things in there such as the name of a nebula that can only be seen through the hubble telescope. It's name is 418 and the description matches the picture as far as the color goes! Now remember this book was written in 1904 way before the hubble.

So i'm trying to figure you out more. The more I know you the better understanding I have on your position.

One of the best known Catholic prophets to predict that the Pope after John Paul II would be the last was Irishman Maelmhaedhoc O'Morgair who is better known as simply St. Malachy. According to the prophecies of St. Malachy, who was born in 1094, the line of Pontiffs has come to an end. St. Malachy, canonized by by Pope Clement III on July 6, 1199, undertook to list in advance the proper succession of Roman pontiffs from Celestine II to "the end of the world". St. Malachy prophesied that there would be 112 Popes after Celestine II. John Paul II, who just died, is number 110. Pope number 111 would be the "False Prophet" mentioned in St. John's Revelation and who will deliver the Roman Catholic Church to Satan. Number 112 will NOT be a legitimate Pope. It will be the "Grand Anti-Pope" or the Anti-Christ who is also known as the "Abomination that Causes Desolation" mentioned in Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11 and Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14. The Prophecies of St. Malachy conclude thusly: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city (Rome) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people".

Pope number 111 would be the False Prophet !The Pope we have now is the 111. Think about this ! This is also the 111, Congress 111th term of president and their will be no next Presidential Race of 2012 which is also the end of the Mayan calender !!!! BOO !

The prime factors of 111 are 3 and 37.

111 / 3 = 37 which is the 12th prime number.

The number 37 apparently has Masonic significance and is the keystone of sacred geometry in the Bible and elsewhere.

111 corresponds to the 3 of Swords in tarot which equals BETRAYAL.

111 is the smallest palindromic number.

111 is a centered 11-gonal number.

We are in our 111th congress and 111th supreme court justice
we are also in the 111th pope of saint malachy's prophecy
44 kings of Israel, 44 presidents and now 44 super bowls.

I think this is a numerical sign that we are at a juncture of some judgement about to come to the US and WW 111

Has anyone else received numerical synchronicity signs from the Lord?
I have like, alot of them.

My take?

1. A natural or unatural disaster will occur, killing 2/3 of the population of the world. It will devastate all known resources and destroy all lines of power and communication.

2. Scarce pockets (groups of 4-5 people) will survive in different areas of a drastically different world landscape.

3. These pockets will reproduce, trying to mantain and pass down each's sense of humanity (social norms, philosophical beliefs, education).

4. Slowly over many generations, these pockets will seek out, find and combine with other pockets, sharing resources and histories and creating larger groups.

5. As thousands of years go on, disputes about and the manipulation of the true history and true philosophy divide the groups.

6. An ATS poster asks how we think the world will end.

I really love to watch them roll,
No longer riding on the merry-go-round,
I just had to let it go." - John Lennon

The New Dawn shall belongs to everyman. But it terrifies me. I live with fear for the future of my family, but this fear and uncertainty can't hide the feelings expressed in these pages.

I also want the world as we know it to end. Not the end of the world, but the end of these ways, and these days. I can think of many examples of corruption, and I see it in the drudgery of daily life. Money, Profit, and Commerce are the New Gods, and are praised-world without end.
I believe that our culture has an expiration date stamped upon it. Because we are too many. If you were left on your own to compete for resources, and to take care of your family without electric, Google, gasoline and government, could you do it. Sure, some could, but most could not. We live in a time of extension; what great masters we are, how clever of us to dam up rivers, truck food in and garbage out, consolidate our sewers. These extensions have allowed us to bear fruit, and lots of it; 9 billion folks in the world is probably not too far off the mark. I can't wrap my brain around that, it's too big. I can, however, look around.

What is to be done? I know that the New Dawn will be a good thing, though I don't know the when or the where it will be noted. Probably some time in the future, long after it has passed. Men will know their worth, will take care of their families as they ought. Their works will be good, not corrupt. Real 'Place-based culture' could thrive, and some of the ancient ways could once again aid mankind. If you stay in a place long enough, you notice the changes of the seasons, the animals behaviour, the moon's affect. You also can foretell a bit of the future based on these selfsame noticings. & know when something is out of whack. Yeah, it's out of whack all right. Don't need to stay in one place to see that.

Again, what is to be done? I suppose that this is my day and my age. I won't see any bright new future, and indeed, I doubt I'd be welcome there. No, there is no place for me in the time I dream of.
I am the new amerikan insurgent. I wonder what bridges I need to bring down to start the landslide, what blazing oil refineries will be key to start a 'Peak Oil' scenario? To me, it sounds like terrorlsm, though I've served more than 10 years in the military, 3 of those in the Middle East fighting in other wars, which are still raging to this very day. But it is not terror to want massive changes.

I am not overly special, and have always considered myself 'Joe Everyman'; normal thoughts and feelings about this and that, and the ability to dream of something better. & If I'm thinking it, then there are many, many right there with me.

I do not want to fight, I want to live in peace, maybe work on my farm, and raise my children well. But if there is nothing done, then my children will live in these days with these ways. I do not feel good, or accomplished, or well. I do not believe we are on track as a species, for whatever reason. I am the Amerikan that can do something about it, though it will get ugly.

Peace be upon you when you look up at the stars tonite, many of them much larger than this planet we live upon, called the earth. When I walk underneath them I pay very little attention to them, I'm not interested them, why? Because they seem so far away. But they are not. They are as close as I make them.

It doesn't state that the 111th is the False Prophet, nor that Peter the Roman is the Antichrist. Those are your interpretations. You should be more clear on where the text ends and your theories begin.

However, could the current pope fulfill the role of the False Prophet? Maybe.

Daniel 10:21

"...but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince.)"

Daniel 12:1

"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.

The archangel Michael will 'rise' to make war against the antichrist and turn the people back to God. At that point in time - when great signs appear in the sky and on earth, when Michael and his allies raid the high places of the earth's demonic leadership - God will be willing to forgive and forget.

The Book of Life/Truth probably includes names of PTB members, current/soon to be demonically obsessed collaborators, who are destined (potentially able, according to their free will) to turn from evil at the appropriate moment of opportunity.

Contrary to much popular doctrine, God will not condemn everyone who doesn't accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. There is no formal requirement to say a little prayer of salvation in the Bible. Obviously there is an actual moment of salvation - it takes place when the decision is made to turn from evil and commit to God. However, the crucial thing to remember is that salvation is a process, a gift that can be won or lost depending on how we behave.

Think of the people who have only ever witnessed corruption and hypocrisy in the churches that profess His name. Will they be condemned for being unable to reconcile the claims of the Christians with their actual behaviour and poor treatment of others / intolerance / materialistic ways / judgmental attitudes..? How about:

- The Islamic devotee who prays sincerely to God each day as proscribed in the Q'uran.

- The man/woman that does charitable deeds, sets up charitable foundations, pays his employees fairly and refuses to partake in immoral or questionable business arrangements (those that will harm people).

- The man/woman who lends money freely to their needy friend without charging interest, who supports widows and orphans from the guidance of their conscience.

No such people will be condemned if their motives are pure and their hearts open to receive God, in whatever form/identity he ultimately transpires to take in actuality.

For the record I'm roughly in agreement with AlreadyGone. I expect things will get pretty hectic soon, as per the following:

Matthew, ch.24

3. As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

*******

20. "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again."

*******

32. "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened."

An interpretation of the last part (32-34) shows that Jesus was giving us a massive clue about the approximate time of the 'End' - though the day and hour were to remain unknown to all but God Himself:

The fig tree (in this instance) represents Israel. The use of this symbol to represent the Jewish nation-state has been proven time and again by biblical scholars.

'twigs get tender and leaves come out'
= nation is re-established following 'winter' (pre-1948, the 'dark days' of Judaism)

'summer is near'
= establishment of Christ's kingship / The New Heaven & Earth

vs 33 = when the nation of Israel is re-established, the end times are very close.

*************************************

vs.34 = some folk alive in 1948 ('this generation') will live to see the Apocalypse.

A generation is held to be 70 years. 1948 + 70 = 2018.

*************************************

There are numerous indications that spiritual sensitivity (and acceptability of spiritual perceptions/ discussion etc) is growing amongst the people. The 'Powers that Be' on Earth at this time are aware of this; the darkest of whom (being allied by oath to Satanic forces) are trying to disrupt the spiritual tendencies of the masses with the materialism and sexual culture we see all around us in all our media etc.

In addition they are 'riding' the growth of social networking on the internet, manipulating/subverting the security measures of major internet players (google, facebook, Myspace etc) as a means of controlling people's basic social tendencies and keeping tabs on rebellious types...

However - as everyone on ATS knows, the internet is still (at this time) a place where free speech reigns...
(Thank Heavens for ATS..!)

It might not always stay like this - think of what's been going on in China.

In the words of the indie band Muse - "Use this chance to be heard...!" Speak up, spread the Word. At some point in the near future (highly possible that it will be focused around 2012) all Hell will break loose, and people need to be able to cope.

Yes, some people are living through a 'hell' on Earth right now - impoverished nations and so forth. But if the PTB wanted to, that could be changed for good in a massive proportion of the regions/ nations affected. Unfortunately for those suffering souls, it suits the PTB to retain power and privilege for themselves while they have certainty of their station. If anything, they also trust that their current positions of authority and knowledge will provide a sort of 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card for when the SHTF.

well i have come to the conclusion that nothing will happen on 21/12/2012, i mean if the world was as you put it ending on that date by now we would be in serious crap, not just a few small terrorists attacks and famines i mean REALLY bug stuff like the bionunic plague, extreme climate change or ww3, none of this could possibly happen within basically less than 2 years... im afraid just like the ove 200 dates like this, this one will pass with noting what so ever apart from serious people who need help commiting suicide with there blood on the hands of the nuts who invented this date, ha funny nobody talked about 2012 in the 50's60's70's80's90's its only now after all thoes dates fail we then go , no actually this is the real date, not like the other 300 this is it... ow wait its next decade, when will you people learn, the world will end one day, within this century probably just not this soon without anyting to back it up...

Now hold on, I remember discussing 2012 in the 80's and 90's. It may not have had global attention like it does now, what with the inter-tubes and all, but it's certainly not a new thing. Sure seemed like a long way away back then.

Had we any Mayans to ask, perhaps they could tell us about the history up to this point....

I would sort of agree that we might expect to see worse problems than we are currently; however, a plague (viral pandemic) can spread its way around the entire earth within days. Therefore, if we were to suddenly come up against it in 2011 or even 2012, it can only help to be at least mildly aware that there's a possibility something might be about to 'go off'.

Just think of it like this - insect 'pandemic' affects the world's honeybees, and within a year they die out completely (NB - the population of bees is already falling 'inexplicably' to dangerously low levels) = Human crops would 90% or more fail within five years - even considering our ability to control the foodchain with genetic engineering there'd be an almighty global collapse as soon as food began running scarce.

Grain might become more valuable than gold - in fact, now I think about it, there's a prophecy in Revelation that says exactly that:

Rev. 6:6 "...a litre of wheat for a day's wages"

Imagine a day's wages - perhaps $140 dollars or £80 approx, if you're in reasonably paid employment. FOR A LITRE OF WHEAT. That's frightening.

Another potential scenario is that Pakistan, India, Korea or Iran, or Israel, or Russia, or the US, launches nukes at an aggressor / irritant nation. Very rapidly, alliances would form and there could be an all out WWIII.

Don't forget that we are already witnessing devastating events on a massive scale at this moment in history. The DeepWater well disaster for example - that thing might go on leaking for YEARS. The damage it would cause could lead to depopulation of the southeastern USA, putting great political pressure on the US, potentially leading to poor domestic and international policy in attempts to keep the peace. North Korea might seek to capitalise on any such weakness, launching missile strikes in a show of strength and retribution for years of the US's harsh stance against them.

If Israel felt threatened by Iran, it wouldn't hesitate to launch nukes against them. If that occurred, Russia might step in and have a pop at Israel - the US would posture, but the Russians might not necessarily play ball. In fact, if it came to a major showdown in the middle-east, I believe Russia would side with the Arab nations, in order to reestablish itself as the world's dominating superpower (access to cheap oil in return for military support?)

And let's not forget China, who would almost certainly side with North Korea in any military action launched against.. well, anyone.. Pakistan and India have been at each other's throats for years - any aggression there would lead the US to step in against Pakistan (due to their poor handing of the Al-Qaeda training camp situation). Again, missiles and nukes are a distinct possibility.

Any one of these scenarios would take only weeks - or even days - to develop...

The universe is holographic imho, and God (with a capital G) is above/beyond time itself. He has revealed stuff to people consistently over the millennia, and we are close to the rebirth of the Heavens and the Earth. The Maya were aware of the approximate timeline too by the look of things.

See my previous post in this thread for details of how Christ prophesied about the approximate time of the end (saying it would take place within 70 years of the re-instatement of Israel, which occurred in 1948). By that reckoning, we have until 2018 or thereabouts.

If I'm wrong, I'll be pleased, because that would mean I still have time to live life, enjoy time spent with my family, make a success of my career, and eventually die happy, having hopefully made a positive impact on the world around me..!

I hadn't seen your post before today, so sorry for the later reply. The determining of various probabilities would of course have to be based on 'something'. Such as megalithic architecture (all over the world, particularly Baalbek in Lebanon), precision sonic engineering (particularly in Tiahuanaco, Puma Punku etc), impossible architecture (Macchu Picchu for example - no modern effort has come anywhere close to showing how they built it - none that I know of anyway; will re-check it again).

I'd also point out that the ancients in many different cultures made reference to flying vehicles - eg Vimanas, Babylonian/Akkadian/Sumerian/Egyptian/Chinese literature. There are pictorial representations, bas reliefs and sculptures etc that suggest mining machinery, helicopters, submarines, jet aeroplanes etc (various cultures). There are statues suggestive of trans-oceanic migrations of huge numbers of people for use as slave labour (Olmecs) - bizarre statues on Easter Island may have been their work too.

Basically, there's loads of curious stuff that simply cannot be logically explained with much satisfaction by people like Stereologist, who (after having seen lots of his posts all over the place on ATS) seems to have a real agenda to discredit and debunk, force the boxed-in view - demanding evidences that are going to be pretty damn hard to come by considering the timelines we're talking about.

If you re-read my first post bearing all the above in mind (all the physical evidence I refer to in this post can be referenced and validated), you'll see that my point stands, despite Mr Stereo's attempt to say that it doesn't (by claiming I failed to provide evidence). My whole point was that sometimes the most preferable forms of evidence won't be available (EG - big thumbs-down to the Spanish Conquistadors for burning all the documented evidences of the Aztecs etc), but that doesn't mean that alternative potential conclusions (which may be uncomfortable for the modern scientific mindset) are necessarily wrong.

I certainly don't consider myself refuted by his response. In fact, his response goes further to prove my point - that he's unreasonably... denying... possibilities.... in the face of argument that he can't refute.

Stereo - just because I don't hold Sitchin in the high esteem I used to, doesn't mean I agree with you on these particular matters, as you can see from this post..

By the way - I never actually got round to fully checking for evidence of the Sumerian knowledge of >5 planets, but will get onto it when I get a chance. From preliminary searches, it would seem you're correct about it - other that the Sumerian cylinder seal we were basing our original discussions on - it still seems pretty valid as a possible evidence in my humble opinion. PS - I saw a circular cuneiform tablet recently with an apparent solar system flight plan (outer planets - earth), reproduced by earth-bound humans from the look of things, back in c.3000BC Sumer. (from memory - will find reference)

It's not the end of the world, it's the end of civilization as we know it. Maybe not next month, or next year, but I believe the decline has already started. Even if you take away issues like the energy crisis, you still have to consider how damaged the environment and ecosystem has become in the last 150 years. We're now losing over 120,000 species every year. There will be a point this century where tipping points are reached, and we'll have to abandon the type of lifestyles we enjoy today. I can see people deserting the cities, governments imploding, and people going back to a local and regional style community structure. We've become a virus on this earth, and the only cure is to get back in tune with natural rhythms. It's not the end of the world. She will go on for sometime. It's the decline of biodiversity, societies, civilization as we know it, and perhaps even mankind.

Macchu Picchu for example - no modern effort has come anywhere close to showing how they built it - none that I know of anyway; will re-check it again

Are you claiming that no one knows how to build with stone? I'll have to tell my stone mason about that problem? Won't he be surprised to know he can do the impossible.

Basically, there's loads of curious stuff that simply cannot be logically explained with much satisfaction by people like Stereologist[/.quote]
I always appreciate being given such a warm statement of approval. Isn't it curious how people have to be close minded to the possibility that ancient man was smart. People are so close minded when they stoop to making absurd claims about magic, and unknown energies, and a lot of other rot.

Actually I find it funny that someone makes a claim, stands by it, and then asserts:

demanding evidences that are going to be pretty damn hard to come by

This is a very clear acknowledgment that this is make up malarkey.

Stereo - just because I don't hold Sitchin in the high esteem I used to, doesn't mean I agree with you on these particular matters, as you can see from this post.

Thanks again. I appreciate it when someone sees clear and demonstrable evidence that this 2012 nonsense is make up gibberish, and then takes the close minded approach.

Being close minded means rejecting evidence. Close minded means sticking to a claim despite the overwhelming evidence against it. Close minded means not looking for the evidence that can support or refute a position.

Where did you get this figure. It seems a tad high. I guess it's all in how you define species, but it still seems a bit high.
