Don't allow Neo-nazi posts!

I say screw Neo-Nazis! There seem to be too many on ATS. there are plenty of websites for these guys to post on, ATS is not obligated to host these repugnant views, so delete their threads. Not an infringement on free speech any more than ATS prohibiting porno or anything else.
Please show these clowns the door!

Well use the ignore button if you do not like a persons opinion.

Usually these folks will end up getting banned.

Note that hate speech is not allowed, under the Terms and Conditions, so yes, where we see it, we follow the procedures outlined, etc.

However, often, members of such groups can incite rhetoric that is "borderline". While distasteful to most, as long as something doesn't directly violate the terms and conditions, folks have the right to express their opinions... More often than not, such members will quickly cross the line and be banned for violations.

Just remember "Banning and censorship are the things that allowed NAZISM to grow.
THe enemies under dictatorships are killed off, as opposed to debated and overcome through truth.
The greatest weapons against Nazism are reason and truth.
Why? because most human beings are reasonable and truthful most of the time.

As a long standing member of the neo-nazi community i feel offended that you would ask me to leave a forum based on my political preference,skin color, and style of haircut.

I don't know, but it seems to me that this site is getting more and more like stormfront every day. There are anti Latino threads that are allowed to go on, there is one thread that is praising David Duke for crying out loud!

Barring divine moderator intercession, isn't it incumbent upon the membership s a whole to calmly and rationally refute the outrageous? Silencing it doesn't do anything but put a band aid on it. Let the goofballs wear their nonsense publicly. Call them out, and in a manner befitting the site ideals.

Let the lurkers see what the site stands for in the way you react to some of that. Actually, my preference would be to ignore most of the nonsense into irrelevant oblivion, but since that isn't likely to be a universal strategy, the next best thing (in my opinion) would be to respond and refute the premise. You'll likely not get any positive acknowledgment from anyone on the "other side", but there's a much bigger audience out there than the thread participants. That's who you should keep in mind.
