Comodo is the best FREE firewall/antivirus that I have seen.

If you are trying to find something that will indefinatley protect your privacy, I doubt that it exists.

If you want to hide from them totally I'd say don't use a computer at all if possible.

And also if you have to post something or some important stuff, to do it from an internet cafe, and drive to different internet cafe's every time, and use their computers instead of your own. Those are my best ideas.

I heard Windows has some things embedded in it that will watch everything you do on the computer. I have heard of intricate manuals that show how to remove it from your computer, but it was way beyond what I know about computers in that fashion.
