Iran's navy offers to escort Gaza ships

www.msnbc.msn.com

TEHRAN - Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards are ready to provide a military escort to cargo ships trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza, a representative of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday.

"Iran's Revolutionary Guards naval forces are fully prepared to escort the peace and freedom convoys to Gaza with all their powers and capabilities," Ali Shirazi, Khamenei's representative inside the Revolutionary Guards, was quoted as saying by the semi-official Mehr news agency.

Whoa, **it just got real.....

Of course it could be all talk on Iran's part.

It goes on...

Any intervention by the Iranian military would be considered highly provocative by Israel which accuses Iran of supplying weapons to Hamas, the Islamist movement which rules Gaza.

Wonder who will take up the offer...

The chess-founding Persians are quite smart. They're taking advantage of the well-deserved backlash against the apartheid State of Khazaria (a.k.a "Israel"). This psychopathic thug running the apartheid state must be thrown out of power or the people living under his tyranny will have to pay.

Man, Iran is all about helping folks. They offered to help with the Oil Spill, now they want to be friendly naval escorts. Someone is eventually going to accept one of these offers.

My response: Tick Tock!

You have to give it to this Iranian regime, they do certinley have a sense of humour.

The Persian people will one day be free from the tyranny from both their own governments and the meddling of the American's, British, Russian's and Israeli's.

Yes, they would. Iran is fast learning media war

This is an international issue, and any country could step forward and volunteer to act as a delivery boy, albeit an armed one.

No, i don't think that would please Israel one iota, it would be certain conflict.

Wow....this could indeed be a major development. With tensions already high with regards to the naval blockade, Iran just upped the stakes. If anyone takes Iran up on this offer, this could escalate very quickly. Then again, this may be just what Israel wants - a confrontation with Iran. If this confrontation takes place in international waters, who would be in the right....Israel, or Iran, and who would the majority of the people support?

What a beautiful false flag setting?

Iran opens fire on Israeli ships and then all hell breaks loose.

This is going to be interesting if it comes to pass. Hope Iran has all their ducks in line and nothing happens.

They must be crazy if they think this will end well.

Wouldn't this help Israel's case that Hamas = All Palestinian's = Terrorists funded by Iran?

It would be difficult for me to want to take sides between 2 groups of terrorists fighting with each other. Better for Turkey to break the blockade, not Iran. A joint Turkey/Iran fleet would be WW3.

Whoever accepts Iran's offer knows what implications this would have.

If Iran sends armed escorts for the Gaza aid ships, it will surely mean war.

This is why the U.S. hasn't condemned Israel's actions, TPTB knew that this had the possibility to give them what they wanted....WAR WITH IRAN

This has been a long time coming and it is sure to get worse before it gets better. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out.

I doubt Egypt will allow Iranian vessels through the Canal.. so that leaves the long way round, it also puts Turkey in a bind... as if they do not offer a serious alternative now, perhaps the Iranian offer could be accepted. either way, things are stacking up...

The question is will the people of the World let War happen.

Like what tothetenthpower said, this has false flag written all over it.

I can see it being played out now....

Israel has an Iranian naval vessel, they fly an Iranian Flag and get film footage from all angles showing this supposed "Iranian" vessel firing first.

- Khazars commit piracy and murder.
- Europe condemns Khazars.
- US defends Khazars from UN condemnation.
- Rothschild-led US remains quiet.
- Khazars try to rub in the Armenian situation, if they can't win by acting like victims they will use the suffering of other's as political tools.
- Persians make chess move to escort ship (right at the climax of emotions).
- Turkey next to make chess move.

THe Jews that turned down thousands of dollars each bribe money from Israel to stay in IRAN

The enrichment deal with Brazil

The US adnission that the US has been running covert black ops in Iran for years..

Know what this reminds me of? the ANGLO-SAXON mission... If this comes to pass one can be sure all hell will break loose... For a while it looked like things in Korea would ignite the embers of war after the whole nuclear dillema around Iran dessolved... but if this really goes down I can see things escalating really fast...

It's sooo sad to see the Palestinian people used as a political bargaining tool.

Iran doesn't have the kahoons to follow through with this.

What I think will happen next is that the RN and USN will suddenly be the ones to undertaken at sea inspections and to escort vessels into Gaza...

UK discusses with US ways to ease Gaza blockade
www.alertnet.org...

I'm only rehashing the offer made last year of the Royal Navy escorting ships to Gaza as part of the releif effort..

I don't think the "world" has much of a choice, if TPTB want war than war they will get.

As soon as the first shot is fired against Iran, N. Korea will attack S. Korea and the U.S. and allies will be fighting a war on at least four different fronts (Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, N. Korea)

So... they'll escort the ships "where"? To an Israeli port?
Where's the "failboat" emoticon when you need it?

I agree....
But, they and their leaders are allowing it, no?
