As you may remember, less than a month ago
Obama met with Rev. Billy Graham for prayer.
It seems to be trickling down.

N.C. Gov. Bev Perdue has been trying a lot of things to try to get
North Carolina's economy back on track, and now she is turning to prayer.

Perdue and her husband, Bob Eaves, met last week with the Rev. Billy Graham
at his home at Montreat, Rob Christensen reports.

The First Couple and Graham prayed for North Carolina's recovery, and
Graham prayed that Perdue would receive guidance to lead the state during
these turbulent times, according to the governor's office.

I applaud Gov. Perdue for her actions in this case as it is
the right thing to do. We all need divine guidance from
time to time

Now, I'm pretty sure we're gonna hear from the other side
of the argument that their needs to be a separation between
church and state and also from the Athiest following.

But remember, this was a private meeting and no religion
was forced on your kids or you. You were not required
to pray or participate, yet they were praying for us. I feel
blessed already

I may not agree with everything Gov. Perdue does in office,
but this has got to be one of the highest on my approved
list.

No, we don't.

And, though I appreciate the gesture, I'd rather they put that wasted time and energy into policy and procedure - of the secular type.
