Meawhile I don't agree with everything that is claimed on this website. there are some things that they give no evidence for, I still think this is worth showing, and mentioning.

What happens when Americans plunder America and leave it broken, destitute and seething mad? Where do these fabulously wealthy Americans go with their loot, if America isn’t a safe, secure, or even desirable place to spend their riches? What if they lose faith in their gated communities, because those plush gated communities are surrounded by millions of pissed-off Americans stripped of their entitlements, and who now want in?

We finally have the answer, and you’re not going to like it: a new fleet of castles that float in the oceans. The super-wealthy are already building their first floating castle, a billion-dollar-plus luxury liner that offers permanent multimillion-dollar housing with the best protection of all: moats made of oceans, keeping the land-based Americans they’ve plundered at a safe distance.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/0acfbf97d3d6.jpg[/atsimg]

The first such floating castle has been christened the “Utopia“–the South Korean firm Samsung has been contracted to build the $1.1 billion ship, due to be launched in 2013. Already orders are coming in to buy one of the Utopia’s 200 or so mansions for sale--which range in price from about $4 million for the smallest condos to over $26 million for 6,600 square-foot “estates.” The largest mansion is a whopping 40,000 square feet, and sells for $160 million.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/79b4456aba57.jpg[/atsimg]

It’s the first of its kind to offer permanent housing units to buyers, and there’ll be plenty on board the Utopia for the global elite inhabitants to keep themselves entertained: an outdoor movie theater, casino, miniature golf course, nightclubs, restaurants, shops, and a water park for the elites’ heirs (featuring a “Lazy River,” rock-climbing wall and water slides). At nearly 1,000 feet, the Utopia is almost as long as a nuclear-powered Nimitz-class aircraft carrier.

So apparently the super rich have been funneling money to build their own sea castles, which they can use to escape the chaos that they will leave behind.

At least some of the story sounds credible, but I tried to find other sources that could corroborate this but they all lead to this alternet link.

I think the link you got that from is a slam site where they take actual news and add their own twist to it. I don't see anything about floating castles and concept plans from this article.

I think the Utopia is going to be the modern day Titanic.

Found the following.

The Utopia to sail seas in 2013, luxury suites available for sale

Samsung really got a sweet job when it landed the contract to build the Utopia, an exclusive luxury condo ocean-going liner.
Built at a cost of $1.1 billion, this ultra-sweet floating condo complex is not for those with failing stock options. The Utopia concept puts a whole new meaning to the idea of exploring the world from ones home. Those lucky enough to have at least $4 million to rub together can purchase one of the few suites available for purchase
. The company pushes its for-sale suites saying
"With 190 residences available for purchase, ranging from the spacious two-bedroom Olympian Estates to the ultra-luxurious 6,500-square foot Utopian Estates, Utopia will bring the world to your doorstep as you journey from continent to continent aboard the most opulent residential ocean liner ever built."
The ship will also offer
"... spacious and luxurious hotel suites on board, the Utopian Hotel was designed to offer an incomparable luxury wherever Utopia travels."
With the boat scheduled to be finished in 2013, Just Luxe reports the ship will sail around the world following the established pattern of the wealthy, docking in France for Cannes and sailing for Rio for Carnival, among other destinations.
Offering movies and live performances of dance, music and drama, life aboard the Utopia is full of selected culture and art, with on-board private facilities only shared with other suite-owners who belong to "The Club." Children will be guided in activities and allowed to mingle with other children onshore. Utopia is considering providing educational facilities for the children of suite owners.
This isnt just any luxury sea-going condo complex. Utopia bills itself as a luxury ship with a conscience. Utopia Residences has a philanthropy program, the purpose of which is "... to make your life more meaningful through philanthropy."
"... At Utopia, we believe part of this involves preparing the next generation for a life of philanthropy. An orphanage just outside of Shanghai. A childrens hospital in Florence. Imagine journeying with your children or grandchildren to assist with specially-planned philanthropic projects or to contribute your time or talents to a local charity where you are visiting. With Utopias Philanthropy Concierge, families will be able to research, seek out and identify day trips to visit truly great charitable organizations in or near port cities visited by the ship. Your family can make a difference in the world."
According to the Utopia website, the company behind the ship has funded three causes to date: the Character Education Partnership, earthquake relief in China, and the Tiger Woods Foundation.
...

www.digitaljournal.com...

The story is at least partially true.

However, it is claimed in the above article that those who live onboard Utopia have also to live under certain standards, and one of those standards is philanthropy. Whether this was made just as a PR move or not remains to be seen.

I do agree with you at least partially. The people who made this story have added their own twist to it without giving any corroborating evidence.

However, as you can see from the latest article I posted it is true that the Utopia is being built by Samsung, and it is a large luxury ship with condos for the rich.

However, I haven't seen yet any evidence that Bush, or any of the people mentioned in the alternet website are going to live in this ship.

Hmmmmm....launching in 2013. Modern day arks perhaps? Couldn't resist....

Although they may be safe while out at sea, they would eventually have to send people to land for supplies and such, at which point they would once again be facing these irate poor Americans they are talking about.

More than likely, I think if true this is nothing more than the wealthy spreading out a bit. The oceans are 70% of Earth, so why not have people living there too? I mean, we are already destroying the land, so of course the oceans are next.

One of the prophets, Cayce perhaps, mentioned a vision about skyscrapers coming out of the ocean floor or something to that effect. This would fit in line with that if it was in fact him that said it.

Wow, I mean WOW! Interesting. Sounds like they are fairly afraid - as they should be. Hum, they’ll need "hired help." I can’t imagine who that would be, but I’m sure they’ll find some poor “immigrants” who need money to send home. But for how long? Can’t imagine being on a ship (even as big as these are) with the kind of perverts who will be living on them without getting really disgusted eventually and then saying “sorry, boss you’re on your own” and jumping ship before they do something to you.

There’s a place for people like these and it isn’t in this world. I say good riddance.

peace

How did that work out for him again?

VERY good find. S&F.

...I've heard of this before - and "island-like" ships.

Still, I suspect the boyz with real cash are planning to escape to space. At least til after the dust settles.

No island like ships, just one massive cruise ship, that will sail around the world.

Utopia is a planned luxury residential cruise ship.

Route: Continual circumnavigation of the world

Let them have it, after all it's personal property and not real property like land is.

Wonder if torpedo insurance is included in the price?

Well, when the ship has condos like mansions it is more than just a ship. I have been in military and civilian ships, but I have never been in a ship that has mansion like condos, some of which cost from $4 million and up to $160 million for the largest mansion.

hope a tsunami hits it and they all die in there riches, this is sad to even think of. Would also be funny if the ocean becomes so toxic that they can not do this or perish in there own crude.

Thanks Sofi.

I might be wrong but I think one of my dream/visions was exactly about this.

In the vision/dream I saw people in some kind of large building, almost like an auditorium, and there were two different kind of people, the workers wore blue coveralls and the elites wore white coveralls, and they were discussing the fact that there wasn't enough space to where they were going.

There was mention among the workers and the elites about the space left in the ships, but I wasn't sure what kind of ships they were referring to. The first time that I told a friend about this I did not mentioned the ships. I am not sure why I didn't mention it, but I remember even back then the mention of ships by some of the people in the building/auditorium.

It all felt like I was there in spirit form because no one even looked at me. I could even feel the fear among the people when it was announced that there wasn't enough space for most of the workers.

I had that dream/vision before the disaster movie "2012" came out, and before I ever saw any previews of the movie.

It is not a normal ship. It is designed for rich people "with their families" to live in the ship, and yes it is supposed to sail around the world.

A ship with multimillion dollar condos/mansions is not a normal ship.

I think that nut jobs website you got the story from is playing with your thinking. There is no sinister plan for this ship or the people who will be living, working and navigating it. People take long cruises on luxury cruise ships all the time from one part of the world to another. This one is no different, it is just greatly larger than most with extremely wealthy people on board.

You can read all about it on the official website and even see a picture of what it will look like here.

Read what I wrote in previous posts. i stated that they twisted some facts and there was no evidence to some of the things they claimed.

However, this is a "residential" luxury ship. It is not a normal ship and it is meant as permanent housing for rich elites.
