US-Mexican border one of the safest places in America

There might be some truth to this because I've heard the US-Mexican border is also one the cleanest places in America.

It's not much of a distraction, IMO, just another bump in the road. Seems almost a way for the gubberment to wash the border security issue under the carpet and not worry about it, thus eliminating one of the issues from their plate of things to deal with.

Does make me curious..

ok by reading the quote the report is determining the "dangers" of customs agents vs inner city cops.... in border towns the crime rate is higher, and more dangerous for police officers right...?

Its because the border patrol is not doing their damn jobs and letting the problem pass right by them on thier watch, and passing the problem to the inner city LEOs... there's abviously a high crime rate at the border because crossing it (illeagally) is in fact a crime...
its just not being enforced.
less inforcement, safer conditions... less confrontation...

i have a solution to no more illegal immigrants.
