Fort Bragg, NC
Several offices and units on Fort Bragg are taking part in a training
exercise on post this week. The event will simulate a terrorist
incident and involve installation response personnel, according to
a release from Fort Bragg.

Past exercises have involved simulated terrorist incidents using
explosives, chemical weapons and small arms attacks, the release said.
The exercise began Wednesday and continues through Saturday.
People should not be alarmed at increased security on post during
the exercise, the release said.

3 things to note here:

1) This is a US only exercise, no international troops.

2) Increased security to keep prying eyes out

3) Ft. Bragg is the largest US Army Base in the US
(per capita)

I am 25 miles from Ft. Bragg and my Daughter is stationed there. This week seemed no different than any other. They have exercises going on more often than not. (Which I am thankful for) When they start training north of me, I will start to worry. I have Camp Lejeune 45 minutes east. Now they can have some loud exercises.

Have a great day brother.

I don't see what is so odd about this. Fort Bragg is well know for
training. That's what they do. They train in all types of confrontations.
That's what our military does on all bases.

In other news, soldiers at Fort Bragg were taking target practice. The drills are intended to improve the soldiers' marksmanship.
