How could you not support democracy? It's the will of the people!

A republic is good overall, but unless it is mostly democratic it is just tyranny of a select few who set the rules against the will of the people. In my book that is dictatorship by a select few that lasts long after they die.

LOL conservatives and liberals are both afraid of the liberitarians, and its a growing movement. lets face it liberatrain is another word for anarchy light, and these days it doesnt seem like a bad philosphy. ofcourse msnbc would condemn it, how deep do you think that network has its hands up the dems and reps skirt? i would be afraid right now if i was part of those political parties. people are waking up and are very anti establishment! rep or dem. look at how many independents there are and independent senators! include tea party members and ron and rand paul and you start to see a growing trend away from big government. vote republican and they will blow your tax dollars on military hand outs, vote democrat and they will blow your money on social programs that we cant afford. the deficit is the biggest threat to this nation and only the people care about it.

HEY GOVERNMENT, we know all youll do with our money is waste it, its all you ever done. look at the big fat failure that social security has become, in theory all the money you put into it will be there when you retire, like a bank cd, but in reality they borrowed from it to the point where that is not true and all the money you put into it will never come out, or youll for sure get no better then 50 cents on the dollar from what you put into it. take your msnbc, big brother big government propaganda and shove it!

dont ever think that liberal cronies are no diffrent then conservative cronies! when you see two choices on the ballot remember if you vote for someone else you are never throwing away your ballot, you only do if you vote for one of the two main parties. i wonder what would happen if that became the new catch phrase

"VOTING DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN IS ONLY THROWING AWAY YOUR VOTE!" try it with your friends i bet it will catch on

I apologize, I was being pretty obnoxious back there. I just went and read my posts and I was like, 'I said that?'. I guess I get caught up in the moment.


Yes I have heard of the constitution and I have read it. There are certain parts I definitely agree with, while others I don't. And to be honest I don't see where people get economic liberalism/Capitalism from. I think the constitution left the economic part open to interpretation while maintaining a strongly civil libertarian streak.

I don't like the idea of a senate, but I understand why it was established. I don't agree with only 435 member House of Representatives either, I think it should be allowed to expand with every census. Actually I think there is a supreme court case going on right now about that subject.

Like I said, I apologize.

Well I was wrong then.


But see that's why I don't really like Constitutional Republics, they established these laws over 200 years ago and expect things to stay the same really. There's no spending on research and development, no regulation or environmental protection.

It limits the government to the most basic things, like a list for going to the store of only bread, milk and eggs.

Well... that would mean almost everything the government is doing today is illegal.
My beef with the TPM is that they weren't out protesting when Buch was in office, the whole small government people stayed mostly silent. They came out during the Clinton administration and they still claim Reaganomics as the principle of a stable economy. Even though he was responsible for turning China into our credit card and skyrotcketing the deficit for military spending.

Sounds more like a " Mocumentary " to me . The Left just won't Stop with their Endless Rhetoric untill evey American leaves the Democratic Party to become either a Republican , Libertarian , or Center Wing Constitutionalist after realizing that their Brand of Democratic Socialism isn't whats Best for the Counrty as a Whole Right Now .............

It does not say we can spend money on research, we can only promote it. Some could say it allows spending on it, while others would disagree.

well if you actually look at history there .... you will see Hitler and the Nazi party were socialists ,conservatives are not socialists , liberals are

the dems are the ones that want to control every aspect of your life from education, health care, what you eat, what you can be paid for the work you do what businesses are to be to fail etc just like Hitler,
conservatives want a smaller government

That would be in name only. No one in his right mind would confuse Hitler with a socialist. (no pun intended) Care to enumerate some of Hitler's social programs and who they benefited? Did he establish many egalitarian reforms?

Pardon my assumption, but you must be American. Are you? What a horrible thing to say, and you completely ignore the hardships of emigration. In fact, statements such as yours, are exactly what allows totalitarian governments to take hold. It's what allowed Hitler to take power after WW1.

Also, I'm not sure why anyone would be totally against socialism.

Are you enjoying the roads/highways you drive on? Socialism.

Do you enjoy the security of a fire station, or the ability to call 911 when you're in trouble? Socialism.

Enjoying clean drinking water? Socialism.

40 hour workweek? Socialism.

There are definite positive aspects of having a collective gather their forces to institute social programs. It's not all bad. Socialism in moderation can actually be a good thing.

I'm sorry but that doesn't mean Alex was in on it. He has giving them the right to use his footage despite all indication that NBC was preparing a hit piece.

I'm no fan of Jones, but at least he's allowing even his dissenters to use his footage. Or perhaps he knows that "any publicity is good publicity".

There's is no doubt that Jones spreads disinformation, although I don't think that he's himself aware of the fact, nor that he is an agent himself. (IMO)

It's funny how Paul Watson goes on about how MSNBC's Chris Matthews is connected to Bill Ayers the domestic terrorist who bombed the pentagon, the key figure who launched Obama, and yet Chris Matthews and Alex Jones are on the same Payroll, making you look like a terrorist.

Ron Paul is THAT dude.

To the guy spouting off about the Tea Party being a "homophobic, racist, right-wing Christian group", or whatever, try turning off CNN/Foxnews. I'm not of the above and while I wouldn't consider myself a "Tea Party member", I most definitely lean towards this group over any of the other crap we have. What would you have us do? The only arguments I get is "Oh that's dumb, they are extremists, blah blah."

Question : Is our government completely broken and corrupt right now? Has it been for decades?

I'll go ahead and skip the step where you answer and answer for you - YES.

So do we just go with the status quo or maybe at least TRY something to make a change? You say that it is a group of homophobes and Christians and racists, well you know I'm sure there are a few in there just like there are plenty of them in the Elephant and Donkey groups. The point isn't the social stuff, because if they have their way the social stuff won't be administered by the government.

Example : Ron Paul was asked if he was Pro-Life, he said he was. Then asked how that goes against his political views, he said the federal government should have NO say in that anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Keep pushing the Red/Blue agenda, it's a waste of time. Maybe you can argue against some random Bush family member getting back in the White House, and instead vote for a Clinton grandchild. That's gonna work. Meanwhile you can send them 20% of your paycheck to fund some pointless war against people that never did anything to you. Or maybe you can pay to have a stoner locked up in the War on Drugs.
