Obama Regime Blocks Condemnation of Israeli Crimes at UNSC Meeting

alethonews.wordpress.com

An emergency meeting of United Nation Security Council ended with United States once again blocking international efforts to condemn an Israeli attack on the peace flotilla on Monday morning.

A strong formal statement by Turkey demanding condemnation of Israel, a U.N. investigation, prosecution of those responsible for murder of peace activists, payment of compensation to the victims and an end to the Gaza blockade was vetoed by the US.

Hardly surprising at all isn't it? The US will always stand by Israel no matter what it does. Anybody doubting who are the real masters in the government?
This is the kind of news that won't be aired on national channels obviously, I have not found another source so I hope someone can corroborate this source.

Allow me to be the first to star and flag this thread. It does not surprise me. The first thing we need to do is purge our government of people with Israeli citizenship.

But what are Americans doing about it?

This is up to the people, if you pressure your government and make this an issue they will have no choice but to back down.

Puppets doing what puppets do.....not sure why anyone would ever expect anything different.

In this case though I sometimes wonder....is it the big dummy controlling the little puppet or the little puppet who is actually controlling the big dummy.

Israel must have some serious leverage against the US government and it's officials to be able to sanction murder in international waters without even showing concern.

They knew the US would back them no matter what, so they get to continue playing little tyrant until one of these "rogue Islamist nations" turns Israel into a parking lot.

Sad to say, but that is the only way it will ever be stopped.

The problem is that our government no longer represents the people. They represent the lobbyists who sling money and freebies at them.

Lobbying should be a death penalty crime as it circumvents the Constitution. The only people the representatives and senators should listen to are their constituents. The people who actually live in their Congressional districts. They should not voice their own opinions either as that is not what they are there for. Too many lawmakers are in it for themselves and not to represent their constituents.

I think the US probably gave the green light and both didn't expect the outcome. I think the Israeli want to escort the flotilla by force to port in Israel, something may have gone wrong.
If they had issued an apology the world wouldn't be so angry right now.

I think it's the little dog controlling the big one. The little dog managed to steal and control all of the big dog's assets so he has no choice but be nice or starve.

Well, if this is true...
I have been unable to find any corroborating news pieces to back this up. However, this wouldn't suprise me in the least. The government has been infiltrated with Zionist Jews and have been under their control for almost 100 years. The silent coup occurred in 1913 and was completed in 1933. Kennedy was assasinated because he dared to stand against them.

The day of recocking is close ta hand for these zionists though. People are waking up all around the world. Soon they will pay for their crimes with their lives and the Earth shall rejoice in the removal of its cancers!

Would you have enought left to run the USA is you did that.

People are stating to workout who the real bankster are in the world and they might find themselves subjected to the same treatment the knights templers got when they allowed too much debt to be ran up.

We have got to get away from fractual reserver banking or at the very least enforce the few rules we have already to stop the cancer.

I live in the UK and because of the UK's backing for the zionists i would understand if europeans boycote UK goods, not that we produce much anymore and much is over priced anyway.

Israel was within it's rights per international law.

According to the San Remo Manual that governs international humanitarian law, it is permissible under rule 67(a) to attack neutral vessels on the high seas when the vessels “are believed on reasonable grounds to be carrying contraband or breaching a blockade, and after prior warning they ... intentionally and clearly refuse to stop, or ...intentionally and clearly resist visit, search or capture.”

San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea 1994

Prepared by International Lawyers and Naval Experts. Convened by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law. Adopted in June 1994.

www.icrc.org...

And even according to Oslo.

Gaza-Jerico of 1994, Agreement annex 1, Sec 1.b paragraph 4

As part of Israel's responsibilities for safety and security within the three Maritime Activity Zones, Israel Navy vessels may sail throughout these zones, as necessary and without limitations, and may take any measures necessary against vessels ...suspected of being used for terrorist activities or for smuggling arms, ammunition, drugs, goods, or for any other illegal activity. The Palestinian Police will be notified of such actions, and the ensuing procedures will be coordinated through the Maritime Coordination and Cooperation Center.

www.mfa.gov.il...

So, there you have it. One by international law, the other per Israel and PA agreement. Israel was and is within it's right.

And IF the US was blocking a condemnation of Israel by the UN they must have failed, ...

This is straight from the UN website!

Security Council Condemns Acts Resulting in Civilian Deaths during Israeli Operation

This was an attack on the United Nations and its values, he said, adding that the international system had suffered a sharp blow, and now “it is our responsibility to rectify this and prove that common sense and respect to international law prevails”. Israel must be prepared to face the consequences of its crimes.
******SKIP******
Council members around the table were generally united in strongly condemning the incident, deploring the loss of life and calling for a release by the Israeli authorities of the detainees. They agreed on the unambiguous need for an independent and in-depth investigation, with most suggesting that Israel bore the responsibility to provide a full account of what had occurred and to describe the efforts it had made to minimize the loss of life and injuries.
******SKIP******
“The Security Council deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries resulting from the use of force during the Israeli military operation in international waters against the convoy sailing to Gaza. The Council, in this context, condemns those acts which resulted in the loss of at least 10 civilians and many wounded, and expresses its condolences to their families.

So Israel is guilty until proven innocent? That sounds like a good system, eh? I'm with Obama on this one...let's see an investigation before we start condemnation.

When Jews control the media, banks, hollywood, IMF, and on and on and on what do you expect. Anyone that condemns them are called anti semite or holocause deniers. And the people of the nation are just sheep under a herd mentality if the media tells them to hate anti semites then they do it. If the media tells people to be pro jewish agenda then they do it.

you wont change the herd's mentality, the herd mentality even exists on ATS. Cause mass media says insulting Jews is antisemite so even on this board people whine and certain mods go nuts and start attacking, deleting, banning anyone that is against jews and what they do.

So until the status quo changes, Jews are untouchable. At least from the west's perspective.

Mel Gibson was only one of the few that said it right the first time and look what happened. He only said what most on this board say about Jews controlling mass media, IMF, banks, etc. And look how bad he got attacked.
Just more proof that Jews are the untouchable "chosen" ones as far as all this is concerned.

so don't expect anything to happen to Israel over this incident.

and to watch how far mass media has brainwashed the herd into thinking that anything remotely anti jew is antisemite, you'll see from tv to forums deleting posts such as this to tv refusing to air much info on this incident and just sticking to the oil story.

It's sad that so many people will no doubt feel the need to defend themselves when they provide their viewpoints, because any view criticising Israel will be leapt upon as being anti-semetic.

So let me be clear, i don't give a damn whether someone is Jewish or not. As i hold all religions in equal disdain i have no axe to grind there and as for race, i don't care who you are or where you came from as long as you're peaceful.

So with all of that out of the way. Israel acted in an utterly disgusting way. How is it in this day and age that we can allow attacks on an aid convey? Why is it that when a country repeatedly performs disgusting acts it is given free rein, ignored, excused?

If Israel were a country filled full of catholics i would be condeming them, if Israel were a country full of Hindus i would be condeming them, if Israel were a country full of atheists i would be condenming them. They are doing a great deal of wrong and they are one of the biggest problems in the region.

International sanctions need to be taken.

Wot you mean like them ships might be carrying guns or worse still, weapons of mass destruction like the ones in Iraq.

Follow the bank accounts of our leaders and then you will know why none of the public has a say and stright politicians are forced out.

I'm going to Turkey for a holiday

Could not agree more.

But the headline gets me. Obama isn't the first president to do this. As a matter of fact, it was a common Dem tactic to decry the Bush camp for this.

It just goes to show that "change" has little to do with actual policy. It is sad that the sarcastic cliches about Change are the only element of that meme that came true.
