US scientists claim to have developed a vaccine which could prevent breast cancer and save the lives of millions of women.
The treatment has been trialled on mice and showed "overwhelmingly favourable results".
Dr Vincent Tuohy who led the research at the Cleveland Clinic in the US said there was evidence in the initial tests that the vaccine could prevent cancers forming and could also stop the growth of existing tumours.
