This discussion forum being a minitiature version of society its interesting to observe by which insidious means people are tricked into fear and hate. Under the guise of exposing the elite or denying ignorance or fighting for freedom enemies are sought out and bashed. Scandals and Evils elaborated on. Indignant Rage expressed. Protest voiced.

All the while something is happening on a more subtle level - the emotional level. It begins with dislike. Thoughts of dislike repeated often enough and fueled by more negative information create hatred and fear. These emotions do not actually strengthen the body and mind. They do not make you more free, more productive, more intelligent, more liberated from oppression. They do just the opposite.

They cripple your ability to think, discern, see clearly, show compassion, forgive, feel joy, express love, gain strength and health and with that power truly make a difference in the word.

Who will be able to work more productively - someone filled with love or someone spending the entire day bashing "the powers that be" or "the other side" or any particular worldview?

They scoff and laugh when I talk about the Power of Love, telling me Love cant change the world and the enemy will "eat me alive" if I love him. This is a lie.
The biggest lie ever. It is fear that makes you vulnerable, not love. It is hatred that makes turns your life into a nightmare, not love.

You think that you can spend 30 minutes writing a hate-rant against some politician, religion, organization, country, nation and then go offline and that energy of hatred will not effect your offline life? You think it will not effect your private life?

It will. You carry the "vibe" around with you, also into "real life".

The energy of hatred can cause real-life illnesses, ulcers, cancer. It will make you weak and stupid.

Do you want to be weak and stupid? If not, shift your focus away from the enemy and invest your time and attention in solutions, betterment, beauty, work, help, support, virtue, creativity, positivity, peace, prosperity. Expose evil, yes, but dont dwell on it, dont develop a hatred towards it or fear of it. Analyse it with a cool eye but dont get sucked to the same level as it.

After analysing evil, forgive evil and counter it with good. If you dwell on negative information you will take the path of fear - a path to the dark side.

The lost souls will give you hundreds and thousands of reasons why it is right to hate Bush, hate Obama, hate Muslims, hate Christians, hate Atheists, hate Homosexuals, hate Jews, hate the Elite, hate the Poor, hate Conservatives, hate Socialists, hate Catholics, hate Blacks, hate Whites, hate the Rich, hate Nerds, hate Women, hate Men - and every reason given "why" you should hate them is a trick to suck you into weakness. You dont need the emotion of hate in order to analyse and resolve a problem. To solve a problem you need the emotion of Love.

Love is the ultimate Power and the ultimate Weapon of Liberation.

The problem is that too many people either fear or hate love.

Humans have great capacity for love, compassion and forgiveness, but for too many it will remain an empty void in their lives.

Op, sure can, but society is full of destroyers.

The people i went to school showed me absolute hatred, and how they want to murder people using police and government for no reason.

Your right about the energies.

If I could give you applause I would.

Love and understanding can only make you stronger.

Applause to you and I find this thread to have been the most useful I have read here in a very long time. If I could give you applause I would so instead I give a star and a flag and I take a genuine renewed inspiration from this thread to try and do better.

I am not failing generally but sometimes the energy of love which I do try to exude is harder to manifest than the lower ones when the society I must live in tends to be in love with living for the moment, ignoring each other unless the other has something that could be of use, either emotionally or materialistically.

Often there is a feeling of taking three steps forward, two steps back that is OK because I totally agree with you about the energies and how they play a deeper part in our lives in the context of our health and our interactions with others.

Much respects for the OP and if you had said that to my face I would have hugged you and told you that I loved you

Maybe because they get bored when there is no artificially pumped drama or media-infused tragedy happening.

If you wanna make bucks selling a newspaper or get replies as a blogger or thread-starter, you have to polarize and demonize.

The thing is that the moment you look at what others are doing wrong you are setting yourself up for anger...which will eventually, if upkept for a long time, turn into hate.

The power lies in maintaining a positive vibe no matter what others say or do. Otherwise they win.

Otherwise they infuse you with their darkness.

"Hate the Haters" doesnt work.

Thank you for this. It is so encouraging to see that other people get it. If everyone on earth was 10% more loving, I think we would see many of our problems disappear.

I realize that it takes more effort to manifest love than anger, sadness, fear, hate. Because its not habitual. Or its associated with being "weak" although its actually a strength. But as you also know, in the long run its worth the effort to practice generating love.

Can you fathom how much better this world would be if we could all just incorporate a little more understanding, empathy and love into our day to day lives?

Sometimes it seems so much easier to take the easy way out and blame the burdens in our lives on another segment of society or someone else. Scapegoats are easy targets. But if we took a moment to look behind the facade and bring a little perspective to the forefront, we would find that understanding and empathy are well within our reach.

Look at all the nice replies in this thread. It makes me hopeful that the "tipping point" is not too far in the future.

People try, I think they really want to, but easily get distracted by secondary considerations.

Love is the hardest of paths and is it's own reward.

The path of love is not a path of comfort.
It means going into the unknown, even tho' you are afraid.
Trusting is dangerous but without trust,
There can be no hope for love.
And love is all we have to hold,
Against the darkness.

Its a passive hate, that is only my business. These people did everything to destroy my life, and its now been going on for 18 years, lie a snowball sort of thing, of anti me.

One thing when they target you never do anything wrong.

But man there hate is all society has, lol.

One important thing to keep in mind (imo) is that "Love" and "The Power of Love" is not just some vague airy fairy new agey concept or idealism but a very specific vibe that can be practiced and cultivated and has real effects on oneself and others.

It is not, like materialism claims, "just chemicals".

The more comes around the more comes around the more comes around - indeed like a snowball.

Very tough to overcome.

Too right, but i am still here, and they wanted to turn my life into a bigger hell than they made it.

For me there is no such thing as love and never will be, and thx to them society deserves all the scum it has.

the snowball will continue till i die, but heck the scum in society will also only get worse, so who is worse off.

Its a true saying, you only know who your friends are when things are bad, and i certainly found out.

But the op is right, but your wasting your time on that love thing, as like the saying goes "its easier to destroy than create", and society love to destroy.

You have nothing to gain with that. You dont "get back" at anyone by hating them, you only destroy your own body and mind.

Thats why so many talk about "letting go" and "forgiving" - you dont do it for others only, you also do it for yourself, for your well-being.

Hating the enemy just puts you on the same level as that "enemy".

You probably "get it" - question is whether you can do it.

It ain't weird how we all have to "feel love" and send out positive energies etc to be happy. Says who? what do you think will be waiting for you when you die, puppys and cakes filled with candles that display how much you loved and became one with everyone?

Look through the lies people, it doesn't matter if you love or hate. They are just concepts made up by man for reasons of control. Do whatever you want THAT! is spiritual free will.

If we all were honest with each other, aren't you just being nice because you believe it will benefit you in the afterlife? Isn't then EVERYTHING! you do tainted with self-interest and therefore a negative?

You are missing out if you live by only one emotion, the others are just as valid for spiritual growth. You are just love extremists, blanking the rest of the spectrum of emotion. This ultimately stilfles and blinkers your life experience...

Which is hardly true because the Love referred to here is hardly felt by anyone most of the time.

Claiming that "it doesnt matter what you feel" is part of the BS Programming.

Those "powers that be" are afraid of people starting to have more energy and aliveness after having overcome fear.
