Oil disaster could have been controlled with 4 ships!

In a Dutch newspaper a interview with Gert Kampers, CEO and designer of Koseq oilskimmers says:
we could controlled the oil within the first week of the spill with 4 ships!

Gert Kampers: the US/BP aproach of the oilspill is very very wrong.
We were ready to transport on the the first day of the spill.
Its unbelievable the US government did not respond.
Each oilskimmer can collect 360.000 liters of water/oil mixture per hour, a third is water that can be directly separated in the proces.

This week and next a few oilskimmers will be transported to the Gulf.......

I think the marshes and the beaches could have been clean today if these skimmers would be transported on time.
Its a bloody shame.

And it could have been prevented with just 1 ship and an acoustic BOP.

This administration had this option from day one but did nothing but

point fingers at BP and yes BP is responsible. Even if obama takes full

responsibility of inaction so what, the damage has and is being done to

the Gulf. Millions of people, sea life, birds, plants, beaches, jobs are and

will continue to be affected.


What a travesty and forty days of indecision by this administration will

cost billions and billions of dollars this country does not have and leave

people begging for some kind of financial clean up response and restitution that

plays right into the hands of this socialistic government. ^Y^
