Wiki says a Brigade/Regiment = 3000 - 5000 men but it didn't give specific numbers for Russian Brigade. Some nations have 11000 per brigade.

Nobody is sticking their head in the sand - some people just don't jump to paranoid conclusions. The most likely explanation for this is training or joint exercises, etc. When these Russians start patrolling the streets or setting up checkpoints you might be onto something - until then it's almost certainly nothing sinister.

Oh brilliant why didn't I think of that... Sigh! Yeah of course we won't know it's sinister until they are patrolling our streets. So until then it is perfectly safe to have thousands of them here on our soil with thier equipment and training none the less because we know for certain it is not sinister... Unless of course it is sinister? And they conveniently have everything they need just in case by some remote chance it turns sinister.... Bigger sigh!

I want to thank everyone for their comments;

I did not mean to knock down the hornets nest on this topic, I was only confirming what some other post mentioned prior.

Some of your comments are very disconsorting. These are not the good old days. They are gone for ever and what is coming will be totally different than what we had in the past.

There were several comments on the Russians not being our enemy, I never said they were. Why would our government invite them over here in the first place? I know that other foreign troops have been coming to the U.S for decades training with our troops. AS far as I can recollect I do not remember any Russian ground forces coming here for any kind of training . They have always been officers.

Now for those who say, You do not see anything on the horizion that may cause Marshal Law to be implemented, We are going to have a Bank Holiday this summer. Our money will be devalued. Further more- Once all the High School and College grads relize that there is no work and that there will not be any work for years and they are in debt for 40 or 60 thousand dollars tuitions loans, well I don't know about you but I can see a long hot summer brewing. It is going to be a big Hurrican season so guess where all that contaminated water is going to end up!

Pres. O is up set because 14 of the 17 states that are drafting an Arizona type law against Illegal Aliens are also setting up their State Guard forces which are designed to be controlled by the individual state and will not be drafted by the government or at their beck & call.

You have also forgotten that Hamas and Hizbullah have sleeper cells here in the U.S. so when Israel hits Iran and Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas in Lebanon and what ever other Islamic countries that chim in, these sleeper cells are to start hitting our schools and Churches.

Now when the war between Israel & Iran starts and our gas is cut off , no supplies will move, no food, people get mean when they are hungry especially people who are not use to being without, We cannot handle it.
Call me a dooms dayer , war monger or what ever, you know I am telling the truth. I have only mentioned a few things that will go wrong out of a dozen or two that may also get out of hand.

Some of you do not seem to have the capacity to step back and look at the big picture and form a reasonable conclusion.

You better start paying close attention to what is going on around you and be careful. prepare for the worst, if the worst does not happen then you are still ahead, If you prepare and something big does happen you can survive it. If you do not prepare then you will have a diffcult time indeed. Do not wait until the Chcek point is set up and someone is asking you for your papers, it is too late then.

Remember someone up there is watching over this great nation. we may very well find ourselves in a situation that requires us to fight for it in the near future if we want to keep enjoying the freedoms we now have.

Thanks for the thread. This keeps getting nuttier and nuttier and nuttier.

We definitely need to KEEP WATCHING for unusual activity.

If war brakes out with Israel and Iran - you KNOW the SHTF (past tense). I think it will go nuclear. I look for Damascus to disappear.

If the gulf goes into worse case scenario...
I don't rule out the possibility that the troops would carry out orderly and peaceful evacuations around the gulf area. People inundated by toxic vapor and goo may want to leave. You would need someone protecting their property while they are gone - but for how long?
And where will they evacuate to?

And property values? BP should pay for every residence and business that has to be evacuated. When they realize this, they may just let everyone stay and deal with it. Hand out respirators? I don't think so.

If there is a food shortage, I would hope the troops are peaceful and they hand out MREs and water.

An organized evacuation is one thing. If they try to take away our guns - SHTF.

All this takes you to the end game. Do they really want to kill us off like cattle? I don't think so.

If SHTF - right before SHTF - keep an eye on the politicians facial expressions. When you know you have to do something grave, it pulls you down and you can't hide it because you can't stop thinking about it.

Putin booted out the Mafia, the Jewish bankers, the Freemasons, and all the shady oligarchs.
He installed many former KGB officers into high political office to clean up the bribery and corruption. All the KGB people being placed was loudly criticized by the West at the time. But it has been a huge success for Russia.

If you did not know, intelligence officers are the smartest, most loyal to their nation and incorruptible people in any country.
And they all know each other. The Mafia, Jewish bankers, and assorted crooks stood no chance against Putin and the vast network he hand picked and put into place thought the Russian bureaucracy.

All the former Russian crooks are now living in luxury in TelAviv, London, and Washington. But they are gone from Russia and would never dare return.

Russia has made huge strides economically and Putin is encouraging the Russian Orthodox Christian faith which is really catching on. No gay pride marches, or pedophile networks in THAT church.

America just has increasing homosexuality, drugs, porn and satanism instead. America is morally spiraling downwards as Russia is spiraling upwards into the light.

Following Russia's example would be the best thing that could ever happen to America. But it won't.
