The US constitution is working pal, like it or not Obama was voted in by the majority of the citizens of the US legally and without contest. What should REALLY concern you was the previous administration being appointed by the Supreme Court... But no, you rant on about Marxism and ammo.

Here's what you do if you want to change things. Get into politics. Either run yourself for office, or support someone who you think will do a good job. Become active in the community and get your point across by HELPING people, not spouting off nonsense and paranoia mixed in with threats.

Really? Do you see the point yet? It DOES mean something. And the fact that it is MISSING means something as well, so it IS A BIG DEAL. It is intentional, it is a carefully crafted image that has a purpose that I am not comfortable with.

This whole county and world is run on symbolism. Symbols do matter. You get more from them than you do words. They speak only in symbols and put them right out there because they think us Americans don't have enough sense to know what they are doing. We are wising up. Just hope it isn't to late...I bet it would have mattered if he would have came out there with a red, black and green flag or a flag with a skull and bones on it.....

Not to derail the thread and this is not a troll post - but did anyone think to check with the hotel in question to see if they had a suitable flag and display tool in their possession in order to use it?

The explanation might be simpler than you think. When I worked for the Sheraton in the Meadowlands I don't recall seeing such an item in our concierge box which was where all the flags were held.

Perhaps POTUS has one in the back of the Beast that they will remember to unpack next time he visits?

oh and hold your breath - an Englishman - me was in charge at that time of flying the flags - shock horror - I even taught a few people there the correct handling of flags - including your own - especially one trick of how to raise a flag and unfurl it without the thing touching the floor - something that had been common practice before I was given the job.

I would suggest you take a step back with regard "Flag Protocol" and take a look at the reality of how this piece of cloth is treated in everyday life - including its made in Taiwan label.
