I haven't watched that video, generally avoid 9-11 debates, and don't know too much about Gore Vidal. But I will say one thing: after reading the following article, the man earned a lot of my respect for his sheer crustiness factor:

...to which I will add that Noam Chomsky is equally a great mind and historian, and he thoroughly dismisses these 9/11 conspiracies as complete rubbish.

If you want to sell books and lecture in Israel it is wise not to bring up the 800 lbs gorilla.

yea, I was going to mention that too. but I thought this was settled a long time ago when he lost several debates in a row on th subject. but I see he goes un challenged in that video... yea, the govt relys on that aspect of microphone control to prevent the back lash....

Are you saying that in the conspiracy theorist world, there's no such thing as freedom of opinion? You either have to follow these conspiracy stories like a slave or be branded as (gasp) a gov't apologist?
