Tell me, break his analysis down and show me where he was wrong. Break down the well established relationship between inflation and gold. Its pretty 101.

I have been analyzing Glenn Beck and his platform, as he is a self confessed, devout Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Everything he says also seems to align with the LDS Church's plan to control the United States and bring about the end times via this prophecy by the founder, Joseph Smith.

LDS attachment to the Constitution has been further encouraged by an important oral tradition deriving from a statement attributed to Joseph Smith, according to which the Constitution would "hang by a thread" and be rescued, if at all, only with the help of the Saints. Glenn Beck also supposedly believes wholeheartedly in the following teachings from the Mormon Church.

Could Glenn Beck be more or less a "pawn" of the LDS Church, with his allegiances lying with the Mormon church rather then the United States? Glenn Beck's religious beliefs appear to be a major part of his life. What he discusses on his program seems to line up with the prophecy of the fall of our nation and the rights of the constitution and the LDS church's duty to rescue our country. Is he using his program as a platform to fulfill the prophecy, create a divide in our nation, and help the "white horse" of the Mormon church ride in to "save" the American people? Will the tea party movement be the vehicle in creating this rift?

With all that, would you risk trusting Glenn Beck? Could he purposefully be trying to bring about the End Time prophecy of Joseph Smith by provoking his viewers with sensationalism? Is that not similar to a Muslims trying to bring about the apocalypse so that the prophet will return? Is it possible that he is an agent of the church and the end game means funneling control of our country over to the LDS Mormon Church and their Prophet Leader?

Mr. Beck gets paid quite well to chump out his listeners. You think that his advertisers didn't research his demographic? Glen Beck is scripted by the people that hire him to sell their products. Hasn't anyone ever taken an upper division class in marketing. Glen Beck is used to sell his products the people that listen to him, the same way Hanna Montana is used to sell stuff to preteen girls.

Why would that make any difference? A weak currency is a weak currency is a weak currency. It doesnt matter even if it is in this country. It could be Zimbabwe 1950 and it would still be relevant.

He was simply using that recent time-frame for a reference. Its recent enough for people to remember.

Its just not Beck saying this. If you print money you cause inflation, when you have inflation your currency is worth less, when you currency is losing worth you need to stuff it into a shelter like precious metals.

Look at China for example. they've been preparing in this way for years

So he has a sponsor... So what! This new angle is so lame its laughable. So if he has a shampoo sponsor he is secretly trying to make everybody bald? Try to see past the hate and ignorance.

Most of his other sponsors have been ran off so this is a last ditch effort to rid him of this one too. It is the only hope of shutting him up. Gold investment is not such a bad idea. Most investors diversify their portfolios by buying gold. This is common practice.

The fun part of his argument is that he uses a high that lasted for the whole month of january of 1980 (the rest of the year gold was between 400 and 600) to argue gold is undervalued.

If you dont see the flaw in that, you should go buy lots and lots of gold. Preferably coins.

Actually you can buy casting grain for 10% over spot price if one is so inclined.
The minting charge for coins is extravagant; the same with bullion.

Anyone that buys Gold from advertisers, deserves what they get.

This was my point earlier. Its easy to find a few mistakes here and there. Anyone on TV and the radio are going to make them periodicly especially when they are a OPED person like Beck is. No one takes his overall arguments and breaks them down to the point where you can dismiss them entirely. The closest they get is cherry picking a few links. Sort of like Gunderson did in response to my earlier post.
