I'm guessing the answer is yes but I'm yet to see any with any kind of structure. I just made one but I think it may be too cluttered.

Do any other writers here have a portfolio they'd be kind enough to show me
?

Well,I am not sure if you are going to get a legitmate answer on this forum.

There are many people on here that "elaborate"their credentials t oimpress the ignorant.

I suggest you join a forum such as this one.

There is surely someone there that will answer your question.

I know for sure that some writers use portfolios. I looked into some of the writing classes taught at the university here a few years back, and some of them require you to present a portfolio for them to look at before they will let you take the class. It probably depends more on what kind of writing specifically (fiction, nonfiction, magazines, books, etc) that you do as to whether you need one or not.

My college creative writing teacher said that writers build a portfolio...but apparently it is called something else. I can't remember what he said it was called. I should have paid more attention in class.

Most proffesional writers have a website to help sell their works, yours is ok if a bit cluttered,I would have just a couple of samples on it with links to your works, you should try out writers cafe, you can put your work on there get feedback and exposure to a lot of exellant writers.writers cafe

Thanks man! I've learnt a hell of a lot since posting this lol. That old portfolio I made was pretty terrible. I've recently signed a contract with MTV so I some how managed to work some kind of presentational acceptance lol.

I'll check writers cafe out now thanks!
