If you could bring only 1 thing into a new world, what would you bring?

cannabis seeds as many strains as i could gather so firstly we could all get high and secondly we'd have hemp for clothes, paper, rope and HAT'S obviously

My family.

We're a flock of geeks and knowledge junkies and problem solvers. Give me my family, and we can find ways to make do and re-create anything needed (eventually.)

I would say I would want to bring a small library with the following topics in it: Law, the constitutions of all nations, theology, philosophy and a copy of every book that has ever been banned or burned in the world.

TOILET PAPER!!!!! LOTS OF TOILET PAPER!!!

I'd pick cannabis seeds, unless that sorta thing doesn't get destroyed since it is naturally here, and what gets wiped out is our artificial crap... then i'd have to pick... eh you know what, nope, it all is not worth saving, only need that hemp

I do find it ironic, that god made cannabis, it is a plant, yet so many people think it is bad... go get some real education on the subject! BTW Corporations and Governments ruined the world!!!

Also, GreenRidgeHerbals, Rose Petals soap - expensive at ten bucks a bar but the bars are big and chunky and last. Also they are 100% natural and really pamper your skin.

I love some of these responses I really do. NFL is good (although I would prefer MLB because baseball is America's one and only real past-time) Music is a good one, beer is understandable, but why, why why why would you want to bring the Bible?

Honestly I think the Bible would only cause more problems in a new world because of differing interpretations on the meaning of the Bible, especially when it comes to the violence and wrath of God in the Old Testament. Sorry for making this a religious debate, I just don't think the Bible would be the best book, although I personally would bring a book into the new world.

There are other books like Musashi's Book of Five Rings and Sun Tzu's Art of War that would better serve the goals of a newly forming society. But me, I would just bring a journal of all of my life before the New World so I can remember how things were in the Old World and how much things have changed for the better or worse in the New World.
