I'd bring copious amounts of nicely cured Skunk Cannabis (hopefully with some bag-seed in there) and my wife would bring the cats, so that we could still be the dysfunctional menagerie/family we are today. After all, what's life without someone to hug while ripping many bongs.

I'd have to improvise a bong when I got there (no problemo) but if there were no lighters, I'd be totally screwed! lol

Oh and I was going to say I'd take my Bible, but let's face it in a New World, we should have a fresh start from a religious point of view.

Rev

I would bring martial arts, specifically Tae Kwon Do. "New" world or not, wherever a large amount of humans exist, there will be conflict. So I would bring a way of self defense. And besides, guns are so very uncivilized.

If it has to be something concrete, probably my piano. It's been "playing" with me for 20 years now and still going smooth.

Everything else can be RESET, thanks!!!

Got that right! You can't have civilization without fermentation. I think that is actually an archeological fact.

I would probably bring a comprehensive database on the History of Philosophy.

If that were not available, and I had to pick something I actually own? Hmmm... that's a tough question! My first thought was some favorite philosophy text, perhaps The Varieties of Religious Experience or The Collected Works of William James or The Holy Bible for its immense historical, literary, and philosophical significance, though I'm sure plenty of religious people would pick that so I don't have to worry about it.

Well, this was going to be mine, but I'm glad I'm not the only one to think it.

1) Something spiritual: Happiness/my imagination.

2) Something physical: A blank book to chronicle the beginnings of the new world.
