Yet another bombing in Russia; So far 5 dead

Reuters reports that a bomb was exploded outside a Russian theater in the city of Stavropol. Five have been reported dead so far and at least 20 wounded.

The interesting thing is the bombing was outside of the theater which was hosting a Chechen dance group. This would imply that it wasn't Chenens that did the bombing, although they have been responsible for many of the recent bombings in Russia.

It seems no one has claimed responsibility for the bombing yet, but Russian authorities still think that it WAS Chechnya's Islamist insurgents.

Why would they blow up their own people outside one of their own dance group's shows, though?

To add:

First reports claimed it was a car bomb, but later reports are not mentioning this as the blast origin so it's unclear right now what the source was.

This is terrible news. My heart goes out to the victims of this incident.

I still can't see why they would bomb their own people.
