Any one hear or know any roumers about what he experienced?

This is the first I have heard of this and I am very interested to know what happened to Napolean that night. I am going to do a little research on
this and will post anything that I find.

Thats an interesting story, i had read that Napoleon went inside the Great Pyramid but i did not know he had seen something. Its not supprising that
he was spooked by the experience.Alone in one of the oldest and greatest monuments ever built with some candles and your imagination for company would
be enough to scare anyone. Perhaps he came face to face with his own mortality or pehaps he saw a ghost. Shame he never shared it with anyone.
Id be interested in anything you dig up nyarlathotep should be a fun search.
EDIT: Edited for addition

Your post piqued my interest, so I did a quick internet search. According to this
site, "In the 1930s, author Paul Brunton spent a night there and was assailed by visions of 'a circle of hostile creatures' which he likened
to 'elemental creations, grotesque shapes, madmen, hulking and devilish apparitions'". Perhaps Napoleon saw something similar?
I have no idea if the above website is accurate or not, but it is interesting to think about, isn't it?

Well there is the Lovecraft story in whic a visitor to the Pyramids sneaks in, only to encounter the Sphinx. That would have shaken up Napoleon. Hell,
that would shake up most anyone.

That is interesting and am I correct in assuming that he took all those people with him to find a translation to the rosetta stone?

It's called 'Imprisoned with the Pharoahs'. It was written with Houdini, and can be found in 'Dagon and Other Macabre Tales', published by
Grafton. That publication is still available in the UK, I don't know about the US, though it should be easy enough to find the story really.

Thanks for the info Yog. I can't find crap on this topic. I have been searching the web since this thread started and I still can't find anything.
Actually, the only thing I can find is this story appeared in the book Secrets of the Great Pyramid by Peter Tompkins. Still searching...

I have read of Napoleons night in the Great Pyramid before. The only thing that history tells is that Napoleon emerged from the Kings Chamber (the
one with the flat roof) visible shaken and pale however at the time he did not wish to discuss the incident. No other mention of the incident is ever
mentioned so it appears that he took the secret to his grave.
So all we can do is assume.

Maybe Napoleon got scare because he was afraid of been in a confine space. Some people will get in a panic state when find themselves in situations
like that.

I have heard it speculated that he saw his own mortality. He saw where he was going in the afterlife (hint- not a happy place because of all the evil
he brought upon mankind due to his own ego). I have read this but of course, I have no links to any of it because I can't remember where I read it.
It's all speculation though because he never said anything about it. We just have other peoples experiences to go by.

He was scared the reason why any of us would be. It's an ancient place that's seen a lot of history. It's bound to be freaky. Probable fact is that
he experienced nothing but his own imagination.
I've always thought it would be a fantastic place to have a party.

A woman once spent a night in the ancient passage mound at Newgrange in Ireland and she went insans after it. Her vision was of horses which were
