Watching this historical piece, I wonder how much of it was true? I mean sure the post-WW II Americans had their job of occupying these regions of the
former "Nazi Reich". However, much of the history shown is one-sided and ridiculous.
It shows nothing of the abuse of Germany post-WW I, the hyper-inflation, the humiliating treaties and so forth.
Considering that most of the anti-German paranoia depicted would have little further relevance, it makes one wonder about current propaganda.
It certainly seems to over-estimate the Nazi affiliations amongst ordinary Germans. Or does it?
