The collision happened in the Strait of Singapore, one of the most important shipping lanes in the world.

Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) said the Malaysian-registered tanker Bunga Kelana 3 was damaged in a collision with the MV Wally, registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Both ships are anchored off Singapore as work continues to contain and clean up the oil spill.

The Bunga Kelana 3 was carrying light crude oil and condensate.

How can we deal with 2 oil spills?

Not over react?

The Prince Williams Sound has recovered rather well from the Exxon Valdez gigantic spill.

The Singapore as well as the Gulf leak is not a cold water but rather a warm water spill. Assuming that BP can stop the source?

Nature will recover as it always does in oil spill situations.

Ok, first the spill off australia, then this mess in the Gulf, and now this? Three major ocean based oil spills in less than a month stretches "coincidence" to the edge I think. It's almost as if there is a concerted effort to pollute the world's oceans.
