Oh please.. you know how these threads go.. it wasn't a dis on you or your avatar.. notice when I jumped in, then notice where that was in correlation to Phage's post.

You will get your stars.

It said theoretically they travel that fast. That's pretty sketchy if you ask me. I know that scientists would not admit that the sun rises in the east without a lengthy disclaimer, so I'm taking that contribution as a possibility, not an established fact.

Didn't you know that ATS was just a big popularity contest?!? ;p

-

I noticed that on one in Western australia nothing shows up at all. But some of the graphs look completely stuffed elsewhere

Just giving you a bad time

Sex and doom sells and so do big names. It's why I have "avatars get you stars" in my little info section. Many on ATS just star off of pictures or doom and not real content. Phage earned his cult following ( even though its starting to get scary)

S+F thanks so much for this. Yes, hmm...possibly a computer glitch, something from the sun, something related with the BP hole, maybe a NK or even SK/US test of some weapon to flex muscle.

Mighty interesting to see what comes of it.

S&F OP.

I'm following this, hope it's nothing except a phenomenon that I don't understand yet. Solar flares or LHSC, hope not.

As for this troll, Thanks Mod's and this is what the ignore button is for.

The seismograph you linked to isn't working at the moment.

Oh gosh, I didn't even see Phage's link on here. Let me go look for it

Did you even bother to click on Phage's link? I think it did a sufficient job of explaining this better than anyone else so far..

You are kidding right.... Page 1 I give the same answer of the Brazil quake. Page 2 I explained how it would happen. Page 3 I give a paragraph explaining how fast seismic waves travel. I think the farting guy got more stars then me.

Man..... I need a better avatar.

Don't worry, I saw your first post (the only one that makes sense).

For cryin out loud people. It is obviously the 6.5 Brazil quake. Absolutely NO question about it. You all said it yourself....it's ;like it came from the center of the earth and spread out. Ummmm...did ya all look at the DEPTH of the Brazil quake? 565 KM!!!! While it isn't exactly the center of the earth, it is VERY deep, especially for that large of a quake. You don't see them that deep too often.

SO...while I respect the need for a good conspiracy, ....nothing to see here. Move on to the next one!!

One possibility would be multiple EMP's but I still got power so that isn't it.

I missed the depth of the Brazil earthquake, d'oh. I'm usually on top of that stuff better. The only problem is that - if indeed it was just the Brazil Earthquake - and you all saw how big the readings were pretty much everywhere - WHY didn't we feel it? I mean look at Florida's seismograph, its off the charts! None of us here in Florida felt anything. Weird...

The problem is we don't know how sensitive the settings of each of the graphs are and each is set differently by area. If an area gets very little outside disturbances and not a ton of earthquakes it seems they are set more sensitive( not always though).

Like Phage says there is thousands more seismos also and this is just a very small portion you are seeing.

Still good looking out either way IMO.
