There is a skin eating bacteria in the same family as MRSA; very closely related. Curious to see if this may have something to do with CDC getting involved. Last time the skin eating bacteria popped up in the media CDC was there.

Um; just a little FYI I am a she, any who sure they could if they wanted to. I haave no problem being investigated; hence I havent taken any measures to hide my identity that is me in the pic and Melissa is my name and my PC is not hack proof; I havent taken any measures to prevent it because I do not care, I am not paranoid like some folks. I am simply passing on info that I was told. I sure would hate to get the source in trouble but to me it is more important to allow people the freedom to dicide to protect themelves or not if they see fit. PEACE.

Necrotizing Fasciitis, aka the Flesh eating Disease. And a very nasty disease at that, my father had this on his leg and he has a huge skin graph scar on it. This is said to be a very difficult disease to keep in check with pain medicine. And it is very volatile. Which means it can start eating away like crazy. One day it maybe the size of a small freckle the next the size of a half dollar. This could be it and could be reason the CDC is here. To slow and prevent it from spreading. Would make sense. Nice catch minigunner!

Here's some links to learn about it:

French green clay. if you get staph, use french green clay.

if you get a mild case of staph (boil), you can put a poultice of flaxoil, flax seed (crushed), and activated charcoal into a gauze and apply it to the area. It will relieve it quite a bit, if it isn't too bad.

if you get french green clay, make sure it is actual french green clay. you can eat some, as well, if need be. Small amounts won't hurt one bit. But apply it directly to the lesion.

I am an hour east of Nashville. I saw on the news yesterday about a school closing in middle TN that had 100 sick kids all with the same antibiotic resistant virus. It was on the channel 4 news at noon. But that was all they said. I watched for it today and have heard nothing else about it. It was very alarming.

Manuka Honey from New Zealand has been proven to kill MRSA.

If these children have anything close to MRSA, then they should be fed Manuka Honey of a lower UPF. If it were my child, I would apply Manuka Honey of a higher UPF directly on affected skin, on the soles of their feet, or if desperate enough all over their skin.

I have no financial stake in Manuka Honey. It saved a family member who had a MRSA infected wound... no need to tell that story, save to say that is why I tell people about Manuka Honey.

I buy my Manuka Honey from a distributor in the States: www.manukahoneyusa.com...

As far as the pain issue, I have no idea about that; I was just told that the Dr's are having a hard time keeping them comfortable. I have no idea why.

If it is propagating along nerve pathways, like...like...I hesitate to say... like herpes or leprosy...
nerve pain is very difficult to manage, when you don't know that is what you are dealing with

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -- Something is making children and their parents sick in Hendersonville.

About 100 students from Indian Lake Elementary became ill last week with flu-like symptoms that included vomiting and diarrhea.

The Sumner County Health Department launched an official investigation into the source of the outbreak. Preliminary tests confirmed Wednesday it's a highly contagious virus that comes on strong but leaves quickly.

All health officials know right now is water was not the source.

I'm not sure if I have MRSA or regular staph or an acquired allergy to diary from a flu vaccine b\c vaccines can be adjuvanted with some really disgusting stuff to cut costs, the ingredigents said to be capable of creating new allergies or damage DNA among other maladies.

I used to work in a hospital and was all over the place who knows what I was exposed to.

I agree with your belief that the medical\pharma industry can be very shady with their practices because there is a lot of money to be made, and there is no money in a cure.

I wish you the very best in disinfecting your body, I've read that Hydrogen Peroxide is one of these miracle elements.

I've got to give it a try, also for My sister who has some skin problems, neurofibraosis (sp?) Where she has some nonmaligant tumors on her skin. I read that H2O2 boosts oxygen levels which is inhospitable for cancerous growths.

Did her doctors suggest she try H202? Hell no, they want her to have expensive skin laser treatments.

Thanks for the information! Please keep up updated! The CDC isn't usually on the move unless there is good reason. Now ... I'm off to Google to do some research on this.

I have been one of the unfortunate to have dealt with this. I somehow caught this MRSA, although I have been healthy with no problems all my life. Basically it started out on the bottom of my left foot opposite side of the arch. At first it was very small in size with no pain. As a few days past it grew bigger and started hurting. I went to the emergency room where I was misdiagnosed they said I had heels spurs or something. To make a long story short I ended up going to the Emergency 3 times with my last one they sent me to a specialist. By the time I was able to see the doctor the bottom of my foot was swole to the size of a large orange and it had changed to a black color. As soon as the specialist seen me they rushed me to surgery with the chance of me loosing my foot due to the tissue damage, since I was in so much pain I did not care if they did. Well I got to keep my foot, though they cut a very large portion of it out. It took so much to heal going through the wet to dry packing of the bandages. while I was doing this somehow I transferred the MRSA and it got in my hand, which lead to my finger going through the same thing surgery and all. Here is the thing this stuff is resistant to antibiotics except for a few, which are so strong that you cannot take much of because of the damage it will do to your kidneys. This stuff if it is what I had they have to cut out if you develop these symptoms there is no other way, I mean its a tissue eating germ that is deadly specially if it latches on to a organ. They wore all the protection with me to the masks the sealed room all that since it is a major contagious. Well I just wanted to give some insight to this germ that took a year of my life away and I am still fealing my foot since this happened. The pain is terrible, though it is only when that tissue starts going does it really hurt.

Oh and another thing this is not Staff maybe a offshoot but it is not the type where you get little boils and puss comes out of the lesion. No this stuff destroys tissue at a very fast rate, and they have to cut the infection out, there is no other way, then they start you on those very strong biotic which you can only take say a 5 or 10 day then they change it because of the damage the biotics .due to your kidneys.

I just want people to know that if somebody has the real MRSA they would not be telling you to put honey it they have a weak staff boil not the MRSA infection, believe me I went through this. That would be like spraying cockraches with sugar water some people...????

Actually any anti-biotic resistant illness is now routinely sampled by the CDC. I'll say it one more time a hospital calling the CDC to report something like this is completely routine. There is absolutely no justification for the on going wild speculation in this thread.
