Due to threats received from the Australian region on the life of US president, Barack Obama, US Secret Service details have been sent to
the country to investigate prior to the President's visit in June.

The agents have been embedded in Sydney and Canberra, where they will carry out an assessment on safety and the possibility of jihadist
attacks by Islamist Indonesians, who have made threats in journals found by Indonesian police.
In the journals, there were suggestions that militants had already planned an attack on Mr Obama, possibly during his visit to Indonesia.
In Australia, which is geographically close to Indonesia, the Secret Service agents will study the presidential motorcade route and decide whether
snipers should be placed at vulnerable points.
Man, it's pretty bad when people from other countries want to enact ill will on your President. The articles headline was misleading until I read the
article and wasn't directly pointing at Aussies making threats, more the surrounding regions and the jihadists that inhabit them. None the less, the
SS seem to be covering all possible points of engagement. Hopefully all their training and Intel pays off.
