It's only ignorant because you don't agree with it. One day maybe you will understand. Those people making that argument think you are ignorant too. And so the dog chases it's tail and we get nowhere.

Please wait for the dog to be created before posting replies that are hypotheticals. Take things with grain of salt, do not delve into the realm of imagniable behavior since the law has not even been applied yet.

The people screaming racism are the ones chasing their tales. The ones supporting enforcement have to be proven wrong.

And Illegals will always be criminals. The people who do not read the laws will always be ignorant in their replies against it.

Disagreements are welcome, as that is what ATS Madness is about, but I would expect it to be based on truth not hypotheticals.

You want to spew hypotheticals, Nibiru threads would offer that venue.

I didn't post a hypothetical. You keep stating people who believe something you don't agree with are ignorant. I am telling you there are others who think you are ignorant for what you believe. I'm not sure how that is difficult to understand. Simply because you do not agree with someone or something does not make it/them ignorant.

This back and forth really isn't contributative to the thread, just u2u me if you would like to continue arguing on hypotheticals.

No where have I mentioned if you diagree you are ignorant. I simply stated people who delve into the realm of hypotheticals and do not actually take the written text into context should look at their own motives.

HOW IS ANYTHING I SAID A HYPOTHETICAL STATEMENT?

You said this:

Booing is not a violation of any rights, yes it is rude..but what is more rude is to spew ignorance without knowing the facts, especially when you are a professor who is suppose to represent a higher education institution.

Agian, you called her opinions ignorance (and by extension the woman herself, one cannot hold ignorant opinions without being ignorant themselves). What makes her opinions so ignorant? Because you don't agree with them. You don't know if she read the law. It's her right o hold whatever opinions she wants and since she seemed to be able to articulate them it doesn't seem like ignorance to me.

Most people in the U.S. are against illegal immigration, including the legal immigrants, and most people support what Arizona is doing, and oppose what these cities are doing in creating amnesty zones.

I guess the big city fat cats don't want to give up their cheap personal servants. Most wealthy people have illegal immigrants working in their homes like slaves.

Obama has actually done a great deal more than the GW admin did about illegal immigration. GW literally opened the flood gate for illegal immigrants. Clinton had vastly increased prosecution of employers who hire illegals, and that is the real solution. GW quickly put a stop to that action.

Now that banking regulation has been taken care of, illegal immigration needs to be the next priority. Let you reps know you will not support them if they put amnesty in the bill.

The vast numbers of illegals here in the U.S. are a result of GW's policies, stop blaming Obama for the mess GW left.

Where you watching the same video as I was? After the mention of the AZ Act, the audience pretty much successfully shouted down the booers.

I don't think so.. I heard someone in the crowd shout something and people clapped.. I don't think they were clapping for the professor, but rather what one of the dissenters said.

One could go so far as to say, "Thank Dad, for ruining my graduation. Happy?"

That's true.. as I said.. I'd be exceptionally surprised if the students were booing. CNN walked around the University of Arizona asking random students what they thought about the law.. typical was response was everyone has a right to come to America and we shouldn't make a big deal about borders. 4 years of successful Progressive brainwashing. This is the reason (and substandard education) my children will never step foot into a "public" educational building.

Everyone gets it.. I don't think anyone knows your point as far as the thread is concerned. I for instance think your views are flawed, from what I've seen on the board, your a typical Progressive. I'm sure you see my views and many others in this thread as being ignorant or flawed or whatever the term of the day is: The point? There is no point. The threads OP shows a Professor spewing some political garbage where it shouldn't have been, and instead of the crowd going along with it they actually bood her. That's rare, doesn't happen often, especially against a Progressive at a University.

The Majority of Americans (according to nearly every major poll) are SUPPORTIVE of the AZ Bill. The vast majority of Americans support enforcing immigration laws and reforming immigration laws.

Progressives support Amnesty.. or dissolution of the border all together. They see themselves as the majority, they view themselves as inherently right in all matters through this notion of self moral superiority.

My personal opinion is not that liberalism will be the death of this country. Nor conservatism. What will be the death of this country is a nation divided. We need to stop making people with differing opinions the enemy. You may not like the opinion, but we need to learn to pull together and compromise.

"United we stand, divided we fall," and we have been deeply divided, and the PTB promote further division. It keeps us from working together to kick the political butts of those who promise each side what they want, and deliver both sides a whole lot of debt and policies that serve corporations. (often multinational corporations)

We can agree to disagree, but the real shame is Americans acting like each other is the enemy.

This is the case Right Now . I agree the American People must Unite to stop this Madness , but TPTB will try their best to prevent it , as usual .......

I would just like to say that I'm all for people being able to live where they want. If you were born on earth, you have every right to explore and settle wherever you please.

That being said, I also support this law.

Hopefully, a ton of illegal immigrants are arrested, families separated, and perhaps even some good old police brutality will take place.

Maybe then people will see that this whole borders thing is ridiculous and everyone, everywhere, is subject to the same rights.
A one world govt is not a bad thing, as long as we the people are the ones that make it, in a loving, humanitarian way.

And the moon is made of cheese. Shall we be shades of gray? No identity but "human" .. maybe we can take a note from the Soviets, so we all feel ... whats that progressive word.. unified.. and everyone wear blue jeans and blue jackets and nothing else.. that way we look the same, talk the same, act the same, trudging along in that wonderful utopia..

But at least you say what you mean, and don't hide behind pathetic fallacies by screaming race or nazi this nazi that.

Both of you have your points. But we succeeded as a country because of our laws. Our success was measured by how much our society prospered even when other societies were handed money & benefits in the form of socialism.

The poorest person in America is still living large by standards of any other nation. We got this status because we adhered to our constitution and enforcement of immigration laws. We accepted immigrants who did had talents or skills that would contribute to our economy. Just look at what has happened once our standards fell and enforcement stopped.

Asking for enforcement is not promoting division, but it is promoting the principles of what made our society. Our society has always been a beacon of hope and also has been ridiculed for providing that very hope for people who want to make it, where in other countries they would just be told to not try. All are welcome on Legal terms and thorough background checks.

The strength of the nation relies on the strength of its youth. Our youth can not even remember or recite who are founding fathers were, but can tell you the secret level of games & how to get the highest scores.

As parents we need to educate our children about our founding principles and push our elected officials to enforce laws. I am happy to see parents of these graduates having instilled those principles as was shown in the video where a speaker was bent on spewing nonsense that has nothing to do with the laws, but more to do with promoting division.

I think they should close the border . Lock it down . bolt it shut .But thats just my personal view..we should sale alaska back to russia , make some money . and then buy cananda ,then ask russia to sale Alaska back after we made some money

Immigration can even happen with a closed border but with a limited staying time, However I think people could move here if they wanted to as long as 100 million people did not enter in 30 years

You folks can bicker on what's dividing this country. I think I can safely give the perfect reasoning behind such conflict between two parties and the citizens of the United States.

That the best ya can do? .. Post pictures of two right-wing speakers? .. God, you get one or two right wing media whores and the left goes nuts. Shall I point out every LIBERAL commentator? .. 3/4ths of CNN, all of MSNBC etc? .. CNN who is decidedly for destroying our borders and for illegal immigration. Hell they even got rid of their only good commentator for being against illegal immigration.

Try having a reasoned argument.. all you Progressives can do is scream racism or point at some Fox News commentator.. really pathetic.

I agree. I am glad some people just flat out say they want a One World government. I personally dont, but I admire honesty. Although I am not sure all those who race bait or do the nazi thing realize they are advocating a one world government. I dont think many of them have thought what they do want through at all. They are just having an emotional reaction to what they are being told will happen.

Not really a progressive but I'll take it

Also, when you have two men teaching Americans to hate their government, their president and ANYONE who disagrees with their extremist, racist, and highly immature ideologies...I can't think of any better way to describe the reasoning behind Americans dividing right down the middle.

I doubt you're a fan of the two pigs, as I believe ATS denies ignorance and the members actually think for themselves.

But in most cases, theres always a few folks who rather have two slobs tell them how to feel or what to think.
