My car was a 1984 Buick Regal Grand National (with 87 motor and drive train)
Engine- 3.8L 231ci OHV V6 SFI Injection, turbocharged and intercooled with quite a few go fast goodies. Fastest 1/4 mile ET it ran as flat 11 with
stock size street tires and pump gas and that was after spinning pretty good out of the hole.
MPGs- Really dependent on your right foot, I got as good as close to 30mpg or when I couldn't keep my foot out of it, about half of that if I was
lucky.
How often I filled my tank varied wildly.
Yes I did have the best possible vanity plate back when I lived in California
She wasn't a show car I was working on getting her to go how I wanted before I started on cosmetics.
Sadly my brother "borrowed it" without my permission while I was asleep and lost control trying to show off to his friends and hit a tree totaling,
the second car of mine he totaled.
My car right now is a 1999 Mustang SVT Cobra (yes a true, real cobra not just a badge job)
Engine- 4.6L 281ci DOHC 32 valve all aluminum V8
MPGs- With mixed driving and not babying it gets around 22mpg but that's about as low as it goes unless you're driving the p$*% out of it, best I've
gotten was about 26 all interstate doing about 85. Not too bad for roughly 420hp V8.
I usually don't have to fill her up very often and usually get roughly 250-325 miles per tank, but it does require premium.
Now keep in mind these are just the car's I've had a few trucks to throw in the mix too but seeing as I've only had about 2 hours rest in 48 hours I'm
about to pass out so will post those later.
