I checked google maps on this thing, "they" have blacked it out.

I can confirm this. I just checked it out, and here is the picture (with my own edits to show what rajaten is talking about).

That's the co-ordinates the guy in the video gave. but that what not what he was filming.
Read the other thread. An exact match found to what he was actually filming and it was Mars. There are pictures on the thread that show the match up.

IMO it could be Nibiru since it's supposedly blacked out by NASA.

Judging by that pic and it being 2 years ago you're probably older than me. There's not many young people on ATS.

The blacked out section does seem very ominous, why would they have reason black out any portion?

Maybe Phage will enlighten us.

@Main topic - It's not Nibiru, as much as I wanted it..

Google uses the Sloan survey. They have some issues stitching the images together.

The video was done by someone that in another video does not recognize a satellite traveling through the field of view. It's no wonder they messed up reporting the proper coordinates.

I definitly avoid trying to sound like I'm a teen, people are less likely to respect your posts if you are not atleast 20.

I don't try and make my age very known because I don't want the older members to tout their 'experience' in a subject of debate. All that matters is I'm 18 and that should be good enough.

I believe that I remember seeing this video and someone saying, due to this object's orbit, it isn't visible everynight. Anyhow, I think this is a hoax and the guy gave those coordinates because Google's "black-out" would only add to the hoax. BTW, why does Google have that area blacked out?

I don't know if it is the OP, but it's not uncommon for people to steal myspace pictures - i'm also doubting it's the poster, as people seem to love taking the 'emo' pictures and claiming as their own.

Well i did some research, about 5 hours solid. Now im all sore and deshevelled but i still couldnt find her on redtube

I don't believe those are moons. They are very far off faint galaxies that happen to line up with Mars now.. I think the one to the left is NCG 2854 and the other is NCG 2923. You can look them up in Stellarium. I'm sure if I'm wrong, somebody will correct me.

Anyway, what does the OP's pic have to do with anything? Maybe this Nibiru thing is a hoax, but it still doesn't explain the blacked out portion of the sky in Google. Yes, I know that someone had an answer for that, but looking around, I didn't see any other blackouts, and I've been on the site for a half hour now. Seems kinda funny that just one portion of the entire night sky is blacked out when the youtube poster put up the coordinates on the video showing where this mystery object was. If it's just Mars, great...but what if it's not? Raises some questions to say the very least.

This video and his original video were shot like 2 months ago.. if there was some speeding brown dwarf coming at us I think it would of been here by now.. or at least it would not be so small. But besides that.. there were star matching programs used, planetarium software used.. I even went outside to look for myself with my 11" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, a Celestron CGE Pro 1100 to be exact, and there was nothing there. I've seen with my own eyes nothing was there, I needed no further evidence. The people who matched the stars up to mars for me just reinforced this was a hoax for me.

I politely asked him if he was having problems setting up his mount as the location was not correct and I could not confirm his finding. He calls me a disinfo agent and other crap. He deletes anything from his youtube that does not agree with him. He called out members of this board to disprove him with another video, and they did! He has not came back sense because he knows we wont be fooled... should I go on?? Really its a hoax... that is why its in the hoax forum
