This is one cool little robot, I've seen a larger "mule" style version of this general design, but this compact one just seems cooler to me.



I have a feeling this will be replacing the current military model of "scouting" robots quite soon.

wish i could get one myself, just to play with haha, but i doubt it will be made available to the general public (hope I'm wrong tho)

Very impressive, especially the way it regains its footing on ice. They need to do something about that buzzing, though.

Thanks for this, it is a very impressive system indeed and in many ways more impressive than ASIMO.

Do you know if the control is achieved using neural networks or traditional programming? (I couldn't listen to the sound)

look at the leg muscles. arm, coordination, funny!


but the real big dog is awesome, creepy indeed.

glad it has that buzzing, imagine seeing that comming down a dark alley, all quiet. lol.

you can see an arm come out when they get kicked.
