Great post !
I am a big fan of Biodiesel from algae made via vertical hydroponics.
They manage to get 100,000 gal/acre/yr in the desert.
They have done the math and could do all transportation fuels
for the US on the equivalent of 10% of the state of New Mexico.
With the several large deserts out west we would be good to go.
Ending our 85% oil import economic siphon would be enough to
turn our economy around.
All of these projects would make millions of jobs, and make
us sustainable indefinitely in regards to these aspects.
I'd also like to see the wind corridor of the US fully developed
for Electric as it has more than enough power to power the
entire US and we could use unconventional energy storage
such as pumped water, molten salt, compressed air, and
electrolysis producing hydrogen from water.
I think we also need to tap the jet streams as 1% of them would
replace all forms of power on earth.
The Jet Streams
Geothermal could also provide a tremendous amount of power.
Geothermal power
Ocean currents often carry a rate of flow greater than all the
rivers on earth combined.
With the top one being the Antarctic Circumpolar current at over
125 times the combined flow of all rivers on earth.
Antarctic Circumpolar current
The aquanator as the device to tap the undersea currents and
not grind up the sea life.
Aquanator
Any of these could provide all the power we need many times over.
Your video on 1 million pounds of food on 3 acres shows we could easily
feed the entire earth and its fairly low tech in design.
Right now we just have population control freaks that want to kill
off 90%+ of humanity.
Again, great post !!!
