The group "TerraVivos" is selling bunkers being custom made in the Mojave Desert.

From the Groups Website

Vivos is an ownership network of survival shelters accessible only to its owner members. The Vivos Selection Committee will evaluate each member applicant's profile for determination and candidacy of their membership. Vivos will then look for those individuals who may best contribute to each Vivos shelter community, for the greatest chance of long-term survival of the entire group. Each candidate will be reviewed based upon a number of criteria and psychographic information, including: their profession, education, expertise, skills, benefit to the Vivos community, proximity to a Vivos location, current health, and desired family or group ownership.

One thing that I found interesting in the story was that most of the business this company is getting is from groups abroad. Mainly for China & Russia.

Why are the Chinese and Russians getting custom bunkers built here in the US? Especially in the Mojave Desert? Away from all of the huge Metropolitan areas?

This thing reeks of conspiracy, The fox host didn't elaborate or ask questions on why such entities would not want these bunkers made in their own countries?

This is real puzzling

To add on,

I would understand the need to build bunkers away from Metropolitan areas because such areas would provide the most likely scenario for an attack.

But what bothers me is why the foreign nationals buying up such spots in our own country?

Are they planning on leaving their regions and migrating to the Mojave?

or

Are these spots more of a Luxury Bunker stay for individuals who put up the cash to stay in these spots?

First, do hotcakes still sell out like that? Secondly, Vault-tec anyone? Curious, D.U.M.B.s just got made official though if anyone missed that . Nice find, wonder with the timing of this and everything going on in the world, what the chances are of actually needing one of those?

You know what the really bothers me is that the foreign nationals are scooping these spots up left and right. These things aren't small. The company's own website states that it will bear the responsibility for maintaining health and well being among the bunker crew and make sure no elements arise in the bunker which would endanger the safety of other inhabitants.

But why are foreign countries investing in the Mojave, why not just outsource this company to come to your own country?

Well it's cheaper than a house.

50.000$ nowhere you'll find a house or an apartment for that price with that much quality...

The only problem is the area where it's at.

If he build those under New York or something... then it would probably be more costly but at least you could hold a job.

Those bunkers are perfect for the welfare queens however!

Unfortunately, that's the thing with corporations, they tend to do what they want. Since, it's "private" property and they're just customers of a product, foreigners wil lbe allowed. Through legal mumbo jumbo stuff like this is allowed to happen, all the time. This should just be built for Americans period; because money won't mean anything when the world has changed from nuclear war...What happens to these if nothing happens? Waste of space?

Bury a $600, 16' trailer deep into the side of a hill, or better, a $2000 Triton container from an auction for an inexpensive bunker. Sound okay? ...don't trust that advice right away ...

I don't know it sounds like a good investment but there is no way of knowing what is to come...

Such as a solar flare?

Who knows, this could be a conspiracy of a conspiracy

I live in the mojave desert and if SHTF those bunkers will not be hard to find.

All you have to do is find the AT&T long line bunkers and check the county building department for the permits they will need to expand there bunkers.

And then IF SHTF you just check them out looking for all the cars parked around them and you will know if they are occupied.

A few people should be able to take over with out any problem. Cut there air supply and generators and lay siege.
Or if SHTF without warning or time for them to get to these shelters i may have all the supplies i ever need.

By the way there is no way to get around the permits or to keep them secret in Calif unless you are the federal government

Because it's harder for those being scammed in Russia and China to find out they're being scammed.

You don't really beleive any of these bunkers will actually be built do you?

Come the irrational paranoia, come the conman ....

Those bunkers are giving jobs to Americans, and payment is in much needed foreign currency, so why all the questions about building the bunkers in other countries??

once the immediacy of the 2012 scare passes, these reinforced holes-in-the-ground can be used to store things that need to be kept out of the environment.

weapons caches
pesticides by the 55 gal drum
toxic waste, etc

it makes sense that the company that acts as a 'custodian' will certainly fold, leaving the cherry-picked foreign lessees hanging out to dry.

I think the foreign investor interest could just be a 'front'
so that locals can be suckered into the false idea of a 'demand' that is difficult to prove that it does not exist.
And then it would be near impossible to know if a thousand people were deemed worthy of filling the spaces reserved for just 10 survivors...it all sounds flim-flam to me.

It sounds like a great way to get all of the world's A and B list people clustered into just a few small places.

Um... if somebody had some sort of reason to do that.
