New fish with hands discovered

I can picture some beer-guzzling redneck dude fishing and he catches one of these. And as he's trying to take his picture with it, the fish slaps his beer out of his hand, blows a raspberry in his face, unhooks itself from the line and jumps back in the water.

This little creature is an amphibian, not a fish but it's so sweet I thought it might be of interest here:

In fact, the photographs are genuine, although they do not depict a fish. This creature is an Axolotl or "Mexican Walking Fish". The Axolotl is an amphibian, more specifically, a salamander. Although they are native to Mexico, Axolotls have become popular as exotic pets around the world. In captivity, they are housed in an aquarium and can have a range of colours.

See us Mexicans are cute when we want to be.

Cute little bugger, though. Probably will be available for your salt-water aquariums in just a year or two.
