Good posts!

(I vaguely remember a mainstream hit, maybe 12-18 months ago, all about the NWO, but can't bring it to mind. Doubtless someone else will.)

How does the new track (OP) hit you?

This is definitely a good theme song.... It's already stuck in my head. Quite easy to sing along to.

However believe me that you don't want to hear it.

Another great song that says it all......

Mick P Kerr - Dreamers Club

And this, the only version I could find. Original artist is same as above, this is a cover.

I'm glad you are still listening to The Spree, one of the few bands guaranteed to cheer me up.

Been listening to a lot of my old favourites The Levellers, www.levellers.co.uk... recently, plenty of their tunes wouldn't be out of place in certain areas of ATS.

But one song sprang immediately to mind and I hadn't listened to it for ages!

Cheesey and corny?
Possibly.
Dated?
Definately.

But quality tune and, well the lyrics need no explaining or lauding.

My vote:

TOOL - Aenema

Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this
[BS] three ring circus sideshow of Freaks

Here in this hopeless f[']g hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any f[']g time. Any f[']g day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Fret for your figure and
Fret for your latte and
Fret for your lawsuit and
Fret for your hairpiece and
Fret for your prozac and
Fret for your pilot and
Fret for your contract and
Fret for your car.

It's a [BS] three ring circus sideshow of Freaks

Here in this hopeless f[']g hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any #ing time. Any f[']g day.
Learn to swim,[...]

It's definately anti-mainstream, if you will. Fits the feel of ATS (imo).

Any vote for Tool gets a
from me.

Good choice. I picked Fourty-Six and 2, but hey, like I said.. any of them will do just fine.

Cheers.

Immortal Technique - The 4th Branch

The voice of racism preaching the gospel is devilish
A fake church called the prophet Muhammad a terrorist
Forgetting God is not a religion, but a spiritual bond
And Jesus is the most quoted prophet in the Qu'ran
They bombed innocent people, tryin' to murder Saddam
When you gave him those chemical weapons to go to war with Iran
This is the information that they hold back from Peter Jennings
Cause Condoleeza Rice is just a new age Sally Hemmings
I break it down with critical language and spiritual anguish
The Judas I hang with, the guilt of betraying Christ
You murdered and stole his religion, and painting him white
Translated in psychologically tainted philosophy
Conservative political right wing, ideology
Glued together sloppily, the blasphemy of a nation
Got my back to the wall, cause I'm facin' assassination
Guantanamo Bay, federal incarceration
How could this be, the land of the free, home of the brave?
Indigenous holocaust, and the home of the slaves
Corporate America, dancin' offbeat to the rhythm
You really think this country, never sponsored terrorism?
Human rights violations, we continue the saga
El Savador and the contras in Nicaragua
And on top of that, you still wanna take me to prison
Just cause I won't trade humanity for patriotism

It's like MK-ULTRA, controlling your brain
Suggestive thinking, causing your perspective to change
They wanna rearrange the whole point of view of the ghetto
The fourth branch of the government, want us to settle
A bandana full of glittering, generality
Fighting for freedom and fighting terror, but what's reality?
Read about the history of the place that we live in
And stop letting corporate news tell lies to your children
[...]

Thanks, people! Boy, where do you start?..

NotAgain: I'd say Dreamer's Club would fit The Gray Area

Freeborn: Judging by the video ('Beautiful Days' festival) the Levellers could front BTS chat

broahes: Nice 'Survival' theme (John Denver also comes to mind
)

Rren: Æname - 2012 forum?

AccessDenied: Medical Issues?

As for the Adams Family (-Kandinsky-), how about the Freshman Forum?

Here's one for Skunk Works:

(PS The Illuminati/NWO track I had in mind was a Michael Jackson one - one of his last, I believe.)

It's got my vote.

None of those previous suggestions come close to the real deal.

At ATS we deny ignorance by speaking the truth. I remind new members
with this vid so it will stick.

PERFECT
