This came over the radio a few days ago while I was driving along & I immediately felt the urge to turn the volume up. I kept thinking "What on earth?.." & just found it utterly transporting.

Attending closely to the words I found myself thinking "That's ATS all over". What do you think?

*closed eyes beats the vid*

(I'd love to see what video an ATS-er could come up with for it.)

Anyhow, the talk show host said something about the group having an album in the current UK top ten & mentioned that this particular track is to be released as a single at the end of this month.

There's just something about the camaraderie that comes across through those relaxed harmonies...

Of course maybe it's just me. What do you think?

I couldn't listen, video is blocked here in the US. I'm off to see if I can find it somewhere else.

Can you give me some info about it so I can try to find it somewhere else.

They call themselves. Fisherman's Friend. Maybe you could find 'No Hopers, Jokers & Rogues' on the current album. (Just guessing.)

Thanks. That's what I needed, the band name.

I will post any finding of it here for those of us that can't watch the video.

Great. I wouldn't know how to do that. Here's the current album (though I couldn't see reference to an mp3):

I posted a link further up that those of us that have it blocked in our countries can still have a listen.

I love it. Great find.

The idea seems to fit the times very well.

I don't know what ATS will do but this member is making it one of her theme songs.

It sure gives me a sense of adventure and hope.

My vote has to go for Tool's Forty-six 2:

Lyrics:

My shadow's Shedding skin
and I've been picking Scabs again.
I'm down Digging through
My old muscles Looking for a clue.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own confused
And insecure delusions
For a piece to cross me over
Or a word to guide me in.
I wanna feel the changes coming down.
I wanna know what I've been hiding in My shadow.
Change is coming through my shadow.
My shadow's shedding skin
I've been picking My scabs again.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic And insecure delusions.
I wanna feel the change consume me,
Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis
and Cleansing I've endured within
My shadow
Change is coming.
Now is my time.
Listen to my muscle memory.
Contemplate what I've been clinging to.
Forty-six and two ahead of me.
I choose to live and to Grow,
take and give and to Move, learn and love and to Cry,
kill and die
and to Be paranoid and to Lie,
hate and fear
and to Do what it takes to move through.
I choose to live and to Lie,
kill and give and to Die,
learn and love
and to Do what it takes to step through.
See my shadow changing,
Stretching up and over me.
Soften this old armor.
Hoping I can clear the way By stepping through my shadow,
Coming out the other side.
Step into the shadow.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

This one would do well as the theme tune for the NWO forum, all those martial law topics.....

CX.

Hey man, that's deeep. *holds up 'V' sign*

It'd be perfect for Psychology & Metaphysics. (Maybe each forum deserves a theme tune?)

[edit to add:]

I can't keep up with the responses, so:

mamabeth: fabulous

cx: another one for a specific forum! interesting...

Freeborn: thanks, very kind of you. (PS You were the one who introduced me to Polyphonic Spree & I've never been the same since.
