ACLU attorney Vic Walczak said he will ask a judge to throw out a subpoena seeking the identities of the two Twitter users, "bfbarbie" and "CasablancaPA," if an agreement with Attorney General Tom Corbett's office can't be worked out.

Walczak said the subpoena by a statewide investigative grand jury is an unconstitutional retaliation that violates First Amendment free-speech protections.

"It's a prized American right to criticize government officials, and to do so anonymously," Walczak said.

ACLU standing up for when it counts. I am not a fan of the ACLU with thier idiocy to take on political battles that only favor the Left/Libera/Progressive/Communist/Socialist. Though this is a political case also because the Attorney General the anonymous users railed against is a Republican. No Matter though, criticism is criticism.

I hope this subpoena does get thrown out and the precedence from it can be used in cases that affect both sides.

But does the ACLU's stance change my opinion of them, HELL NO..They are still considered scum in books who would do anything to stay in the spotlight & anything that fattens their pocket.
