Glen Beck and Freedom Works are now United

I've made some threads about Freedom Works and Dick Armey. Most of everyone ignored them. I will also state that Beck has also blew off associations of the Tea Parties and Freedom Works in the past.

and NOW LOOK. Way to go Beck.

If all of this wasn’t enough for you, the hypocrisy continues for Armey.

In 2008, as corporations and banks across the nation were being bailed out with billions of tax dollars, Armey was lobbying on provisions of the TARP Reform and Accountability Act of 2009 for CarMax, a Fortune 500 company that went on to issue $1.5 billion in asset-backed securities eligible for investor loans under the TARP and Federal Reserve-subsidized Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF).

He actually lobbied in support of the same wasteful government spending he and his supporters now rail against. It seems to me that the Tea Party movement is experiencing a “creditability crisis.”

You are knocking the shillmeister. You'd think people would get behind you? Seems people are more divided then ever these days. beck is just one of many people who are there to divide everyone into their respective fenced area. The Tea Party was proven a joke when Palin got behind it and this just furthers the jokery IMHO.

ATS seems to have swung fairly hard to the "right" (which is laughable considering the democrats ain't too far from the "right" either these days, do we even get a choice anymore? It's all a joke, right, left, vertical, whatever, it's all the same in D.C. ). I'd daresay many would think this is a good thing.

I don't think people are no-selling your thread man. I just think no one is surprised and no one here thinks Glenn Beck has any credibility. I mean this pretty confirms that Beck is a soul-less whore, but we all pretty much knew that.

I think Glenn Beck might be having an epiphany here.

I agree about Glenn Beck, I hate him but I didn't wanna post here because he so polarizing. If you don't like him, you know he's a whore for his conservative base, if you do like him then there's probably no use arguing with you.

At first glance however, David9176, I thought your avatar was a picture of Glenn Beck, that might be killing your thread as Beck supporters will read your thread and ignore it or flame you and Beck haters assume that your avatar is a nice picture of him and just leave the thread without reading it.

You get lots of stars and flags and replies ... especially way back before we all recognized Beck as a plagiarizing yet watered down Alex Jones (among other fitting descriptions.)

He's waking people up that normally wouldn't even be aware.

Trust the American spirit. When they see past that, as we have, they'll pursue more in depth truths from more reliable sources as they can.

Also, you can bank that some information, some reality, can be too much for others.

Everyone has their saturation point. Have faith.

Exactly, the board is not ignoring this thread, just that we have wrote so many times about this slime beck, and how he is no good for anyone in the truth movement.

If I were you guys, I'd be more worried about MSNBC/NBC , GE and the white house links. There is much more of a conflict of interest there and nobody seems to care.

It is a good thing. For 8 yrs ATS had nothing but left-wing moonbats in here bashing bush and calling him a nazi.

It was populated almost by almost all democrats. It was a sin to even be a 'conservative' or espouse conservative views.

The rhetoric on here was at a all time high.

Obama has wakened the sheep up....and they are turning very hard right.

You are in the midst of a conservative/libertarian revolution.

Most members here aren't close to those actual beliefs. Did you know most libertarians actual believe there should be no restrictions on immigration period? Free movement for all people. Most libertarians believe every road, every school, even the military should be a private enterprise. I worked two Libertarian party campaigns. Oh and there you were thinking I was a democrat.

Not really, I never saw that many socialists on this site. Socialism doesn't scare me considering most of the elements in our current government are point-of-fact socialist.

Republicans support a lot of these measures. In truth both parties are rather socialist at the end of the day. They both seem to share the same agenda. I mean come on, Pelosi voted for 90% of what Bush wanted her too. You call that an opposition?

Most of what Demonrats support is not liberal in philisophy. You will notice i put right in quation marks. Because there is little difference between the two parties at the end of the day. They both seem to support a corprate-state controlled economy. But for arguments sake, let's find out what a liberal is shall we?

I've been to Europe, it's alright. They can spell what they are talking about there for the most part.

Of course, none of this matter at the end of the day because you've bought into Beck and his shillery, so lets take a good look at Mr. beck.

He's not a Libertarian, no matter how much he professes it. You cannot sit there and advocate a VAT tax on O'reilly and claim to be a libertarian. The guy proclaimed Libertarians were terrorists and Ron Paul supporters were going to bomb people. Enjoy your little moment in the sun with him because he's going to turn you out faster than a pimp at the Freaknic.
