Mexican President Knocks Arizona Law From White House Lawn

www.breitbart.tv

ABC News: Mexican President Felipe Calderon took the unusual step Wednesday morning of criticizing an American law while visiting the White House, saying cooperation is needed to fix the US-Mexican immigration issue but "such laws as the Arizona law that is forcing our people to face discrimination. If we are divided, we cannot overcome these problems."

The gall of this man is incredible. Once again, he takes absolutely no accountability for the problem in Mexico. Mexico has nothing to do with this problem.

- The real problem is that we don't treat people well enough

"the law is placing our people to face discrimination"

- Right - they are YOUR people. What about the impact to OUR people.

- he does not once suggest that he needs to do more to create economic conditions that would cause folks to stay in Mexico

- on the drug front, it is a demand issue, not a supply issue. It is not a demand or a supply issue. It is the violence associated with the supply that is the largest component of the problem.

- he needs more from us. More money, more aid, more, more, more

- he makes no mention of the systemic corruption that exists throughout the Mexican government, legal and law enforcement communities that make solving the immigration problem on his end difficult.

- He obviously makes no mention of the responsibility to secure his own northern border, in the same fashion that he secures his southern border.

Obama should come out and hammer this gent from the White House lawn.

He won't of course. He's too busy apologizing for us.

Be funny to see what the Mexicans would do if 12 million non-Spanish speaking Americans just started walking across the border. Went into schools looking for an education, poured into the emergency rooms.

What a complete jerk. Who the heck is he to come here and complain about our laws or laws passed in various states? He's worried that with all the deportation that will occur he'll have the undesirables back in his country. This problem is completely the united states fault! How dare we have better infrastructure! How dare we have better educational opportunities! How dare we have a better quality of life! OMG america is gonna be just like mexico in a decade! I'm so sick and tired of this crap! Mr. Calderon needs to mind his business and keep his nose out of ours!

I suggest that Mr. Calderon read the following post by ATS member jam321, including links and comments, and tell us why that many of the problems we are having with illegals in the U S are not his fault, or that of his country's people, and didn't originate at his end?---- he is a typical hypocrite with a "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. Clean up your act first Mr. Calderon, and maybe then you can "advise us" on how to do the same.

The Mexican government doesn't assume responsibility for anything wrong with the Mexican state. Never has.

The Mexican government is corrupt as hell itself, working hand-in-hand with drug cartels and anyone who will grease their palms with cash. That's why they take no action whatsoever to stem the tide of Mexican high school dropouts illegally crossing the U.S. border — the illegals are sending money back from the USA, which is propping up Mexican banks.

Sheesh... You can commit any sort of crime in Mexico and buy your way out of it, I'm serious, often at the time of arrest. If you accidentally dropped a $20 bill in Mexico, I swear, a Mexican Federale would appear out of nowhere and catch it before it touched the ground.

If the Mexican president is cozying up to our socialist president, you can be sure it's because Obama is paying him off under the table.

I don't think Calderon had what a bunch of ATS's would think of his words in mind while he delivered his speech. He is a politician and he is thinking about the votes back home.

Follow the money.
this is why Mexico can't have the AZ law gain popularity with other border states:

Remittances from Mexican immigrants in the United States to their families back home are a major source of income in Mexico, second only to oil, surpassing even the tourism industry. Remittances in 2005 totaled $20 billion. www.pbs.org...

I doubt that the douche-nozzle can actually read! He is such a skeevy prick who is so corrupt its not even funny. He needs to deal with his own crappy third world country and stay the hell out of our business. Dont get caught illegally entering Mexico, becuase they have no problem tossing you in a cell for the rest of your life. Hypocrites.

So Calderon is criticizing federal law. Since that's what the AZ law is based on.

what a pinche cabron!

So what's new? We are allowed to go to other countries and criticize their policies but others can't come to our country to criticize ours? Sometimes I feel like people these days want us to be the new unquestioned empire. I remember a couple of months ago people were pissed because Obama bowed to Asian leaders, and now people don't want us to acknowledge our neighbors greivances?
Why do you think leaders visit other countries, to play golf and shoot the breeze? This isn't surprising what-so-ever, and whether you agree with his arguments or not, he has guts to his speak his mind in the belly of the beast.

He would probably be too afraid to show up.
He more than likely would send in a body

Why is he even here visiting in the first place?

Could it be because his citizens are complaining?

Ya, let's take it to the country that is at fault!

NOT!

And the winner for lame President of the year goes to........Obama. WAY TO GO STANDING THERE AND DOING/SAYING NOTHING. All, I've heard lately is him making jokes about AZ and the law. You know, the same law a the federal law. Maybe Obama should take his dumb ass down to AZ and see if he gets profiled and deported.......we know he doesn't carry a copy of his birth certificate.

I'm sympathetic to Obama and yet I have to agree with you. That's just unbelievable.
