A small police force in a Mexico town has resigned en-masse after armed men ambushed two officers.

Source

The officers were wounded when leaving their station, leaving only five other police personnel.

The resignations of six of the officers in the town of La Union came after similar resignations in other towns by police officers in fear of drug cartel violence.

It seems the Cartel has penetrated the small towns. How long before they are able to penetrate bigger cities? How long before their incursions reach the U.S. and small border towns? How long before the U.S. steps up the Military presence along the border? How strong will we allow this Cartel to get before swift action is imposed. Indeed there are a lot of questions that surround this subject.

Arizona has the right idea. First allow the citizens the ACTUAL RIGHT guaranteed us by the Constitution to carry arms as we see fit. Next, begin the removal of illegal immigrants. Next, guard that FRELLING border, NOW.

Like I have said in this thread-What is the purpose of the US Military?

Is it to protect the US from foreign invaders? Or is it to protect empire and the corporate interests around the globe?

Which makes one wonder, is the Military not involved in this because of
corporate (C.I.A.) interest/investment?

Theres already a thread going on about this here: Mexican town's police force quits after ambush

The town only had 11 cops on the force and so it was probably a sleepy little town (village).

The other topic is in the Breaking News, this topic is in Political issues which usually thwarts an on-going discussion.

In response to your comment,
A sleepy small town w/ 11 cops now...a bustling city with a substantial police force next.
