Okay, this may sound just a wee bit strange but here goes.
I ( An several other people.) have noticed that when ever Chemtrails are seen we almost always smell (Get this.) FAST FOOD! I know, you're all
thinking "Well, dumbass, maybe it's a Mcdonald's or something". Well, that's as I thought until I noticed when I was outside, I smelt the
samething. And, from the direction that the wind was co ming from there are no fast food resturants or anything like that more about 10 miles in that
direction.
I have also noticed that when chemtrails are being sprayed; after about, 2-3 hours, the sky will go from Blue, to a milky white like color. The wind
will pickup, and clouds will come.

This may have nothing to do with your "fast food" smell, but I thought you should know that the US Army has been known to use corn oil as a Chemical
Warfare simulant. Whether this would produce the smell you mention is unknown to me.
Corn oil is used by the US military in order to test their respirator filters;
