Why is Pete Conrad (3rd Man on the Moon) saying this?

Hello.

This is video of Pete Conrad the third man to allegedly walk on the surface of the moon. He was on Apollo 12.

This footage is from the series "When we went to the moon". I post this not wanting to debate the Moon Landings, as I believe it is a personal belief one way or the other, but I do want to discuss astronaut Pete Conrad's statement in this clip.

omg slow very very slow he wasent saying we never went to the moon and if the rest of this video taht has been sliced and diced was here you would KNOW that.
he was talking about the goverment cut backs or dont you rember how they had a plan to go back to the moon? hes talking about how taht new plan was scraped befor they even got started but hey makes for a good hox thread

yea, id have to agree with xxcaliber there..

First thought when i saw the video was only 18 seconds was that obviously it's an out of context quote, otherwise more information would only further support whatever he was saying.
