Don't feel bad, they might even be packing more into the final product and hold release back some more for that. Think of it this way, Windows 95,
revision B had USB functionality for keyboards, mice and printers. However Microsoft made sure that everyone had to migrate to Windows 98 (released in
1999) in order to use USB devices.
I would rather have ATS 2010 as a complete product with minor updates to come than to have a whole new redesign to add functionality a year or two
down the road. It should be pointed out that the Video & Media site was one of those "minor updates" that freed up individual member spaces for
avatars and whatnot that used to have to be purchased with points.
In that aspect, ATS was reminiscent of the early days of Telnet and the various MUDs, MUXs, etc. Comparing the internet of then to now is like
comparing a string and tin cans to a cell phone of today. I, for one, am glad that Bill and the others expand ATS's functionality to remain current
(and in some cases leading) technologies to bring the membership a better experience for the low, low cost of logging in and sharing our thoughts.
That they do this with member input and suggestions is even for fantastic. Who knows what the future will hold for us, but rest assured that ATS will
remain part of it.
