Free market capitalism = future monopoly = 1 winner, 349,999,999 losers.

Wouldn't a village of jungle people in the Amazon be consider a group of socialist? The men go out and hunt for a boar while the women pick berries and coconuts. Then at the end of the day EVERYONE eats. It's been working for them for thousands of years, and no one goes hungry.

Yes, this works for a small community. Very well in fact.

Now force that system onto a country the size of say the US.

Who is going to enforce this system?

Who is going to make it fair?

What does your comment have to do with destroying capitalism?

You have it completely backwards.
To destroy Capitalism you leave it unregulated.
Competition ensues until you have one winner.
Isn't that the goal of competing? To WIN!
Then you have a monopoly, business is indistiguishable from Government.
Show me the error.

Its not unregulated for EVERYONE, only those who have enough money to control the politicians. Nowadays, most regulations exist to LIMIT competition, to keep the little guy from succeeding.

Just another myth perpetrated to continue their control. They allow people to scream "it was deregulation that caused it". They then happily write more laws. Self perpetuating laws are the chains that enslave us, not lack of laws.

We have not had true free market capitalism for a long time, its been crony capitalism.

That and when they have their partners in crime, the government, allow them to do it.

They also get the government to pass regulation that makes others not be able to compete with them and they bail out their buddies when they fail.

Oh how I HATE cronie capitalism.

Lynch mobs could make a comeback. Kidding, just kidding ADL watchers.

I feel your pain, my friend I really do, we are watching the denigration of this nation by our own government policies and those pimps call big interest and we are powerless.

Explain, please, why a cap is ridiculous?

Also explain please from where one derives a "right" to take as much from a shared economy as one can?

That smacks of "might makes right".

How wouild a cap damage the economy?

The super-wealthy are not smarter than anyone else, they are merely more selfish and ruthless.

Every single billionaire could drop dead tomorrow, and the world would continue just fine, probably better off for the loss. They don't really contribute much to the global economy. The ideas and inventions they exploit aren't theirs, they are created by people who work for them.

I don't have wealth envy, as I wouldn't accumulate the stuff beyond what I need for my own projects: a few tens of millions at most. Anything that required more wealth than I had to accomplish could be accomplished by forming a consortium. Having more minds looking at the consequences of actions never hurts.

what some seem to argue for when arguing against limits is a dream of personal wealth great enough to by a global tyrant, unaccountable to anyone., surely an extremely immature viewpoint.
