Live on fox, Tom Jones former astronaut just said that since this is the shuttles last mission, hopefully the people who take over the space program will "hopefully be able to go farther than the space station" hmmm Isnt the moon ALOT further?

And when was the last time we went to the moon?

For a very very long time the furthest we have gone is the space shuttle. He was saying that its time that we stretched our legs again.

The way he said it was from a technological standpoint.. At least that's how it sounded to me.

Now put our opinions side by side and which makes more sense?

You assumed it was from a technological stand point by they way it sounded. That doesn't exactly move me off my opinion of what he meant.
