Wow what a beautiful lizard in the photo!!!! I have two crested geckos and just love the little creatures. It is so sad to see that extinction is happening right now.

I'm not really surprised to hear about this. After all, as the environment changes, species will need to either adapt to the new conditions or die out. This has happened countless times throughout this planet's history and has lead to both minor and mass extinctions. And, we're about due for a mass extinction on this planet, so it's likely that we'll be seeing plenty more of this sort of thing in the future. There's not much we can really do about it, though; which is unfortunate to say the least
